This research evaluates the performance degradation of information channels in multifunction radar due to electronic countermeasures (standoff jamming) on main loop of radar antenna .This evaluation is performed by using the signal to noise ratio( SNR ) and the probability of detection parameters with and without jamming. Improvement of radar performance is proposed by using the following (ECCM) techniques :Constant False Alarm Rate( CFAR), Pulse compression (pc) , frequency agility (FA), Frequency Diversity(FD),Logarithmic Reception , and Automatic Gain Control(AGC). This research involves a simulation of four channels coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) transceiver. The study is done on the effect of the extinction ratio(ER) of the directly modulated laser (DML) diode, the effect of using Erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) in optical fiber links on the quality factor (Q) and the bit error ratio (BER) when using different lengths of fiber. Then a comparison is made between the CWDM network using the amplifier EDFA and the same network without using the amplifier EDFA. In addition, the study is done on the effect of optical fiber length on Q with and without the amplifier EDFA, and we demonstrated the relationship between them diagrammatically.
This research is mainly about the influence of protocols on the performance of Satellite Communication. We have studied and compared many TCP variants recently proposed.
The most important problem is to reduce radar signal noise ,so we must design a pattern to process signal from source to destination. We might study target tracking by using Kalmen filters which estimate the exact statistical average signals and pu t a mathematical relationship to the optimal detection technique for radar system with two variations (position, velocity) and three variations (position, velocity, acceleration). Then, we compare these filters by Matlab to check the least value for the studied error.
