This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of immune enhancers such as Beta-glucan on some blood parameters of quails such as white blood cell differential count, and level of viral antibody for Newcastle disease by using the hem agglutination inhibition (HI) test . Seventy five, 1 days old Japanese quail chicks were randomly divided into three groups of 25 chicks, with similar initial average body weight.

This study aimed to determine the effect of antifungal drug (copper Sulphate) on blood picture of broiler chickens Vaccinated with Newcastle Disease Vaccine, We used the drug being tested by two doses: (50, 100) ppm from the age of 7 till 45 Days. We used /150/ chick were divided into three equal groups.
The aim of the study was to determine the effect of dietary supplementation of some organic acids (Propionic acid, butyric acid,) on the performance and some blood biochemical profile of quails. Seventy five (75) one day old unsexed Japanese quai l chicks were used in this study and distributed randomly into three treatments per each treatment (25 chicks) commercial Japanese quail chicks were used for 42 days..
For studying the effect of cadmium sulphate on some physiological components of blood in male white rabbits. we used (12) animals divided in to two groups (6 animals per group).the experimental one became aqueous cadmium sulphate (5 mg/kg) orally, while the control became water for 28 days (4 weeks). We reported significant decrease (p<0.01) in the count of red blood cells , Hematocrit values and Hemoglobin concentration.
This study was conducted at Gharabo farm, Fac. Agric. Damascus Universityin order to determine the effect of heat sress and level of vit. C on the blood indicators of of Japanese quailc A total of 252 females Chicks were distributed randomly into two groups (G and G2) at one day of age, The chicks in G1were subjected to an ideal temperature required according to their age up to 30 days old, while the chicks in G2 were subjected to heat stress at 42 °C during the daytime from 8 am to 5 pm and to ideal temperature from 5pm to 8am for the same period of rearing. Chicks of each group were distributed into three subgroups given three levels of vitamin C: 0, 10 and20 g/l, with three replicates for each sub-group during the rearing period. Blood samples were collected from eighteen birds selected randomly from each group. Results indicated that there was a significant increase in both red blood cells and hemoglobin in the stressed group.
The present study was performed on blood samples belong to 15 patients( 12 males,3 females) infected with cutaneous leishmaniasis, and their healing was also proved after submitting local treatment. Study tests were performed on 2 stages, the first after infection, and the second two months at least after healing. Every patient was subject of the following tests: total, and differential white blood cells count and hematocrit value. In addition ,a study of the morphological changes of white blood cells was conducted.
