The rheological behaviour in the molten state of Acrylo nitril– Butadine – Styrene (ABS) according to temperature, shearing stress and shearing rate have been studied. Measurements were made with a capillary viscosimeter for the static properties. The correction of experimental data has been carried out. Viscosity decreases with increasing shear stress or shear rate in the nonnewtonian flow high polymer systems. However, the variation of activation energy with temperature at fixed shear rate is always less then at fixed shear stress.
In this research we have prepared thin films from poly vinyl chloride (PVC) by spin coating technique in three velocities (1000,2000,3000)RPM on glass substrate (Micro scope cover glass), at room temperature. The absorbance A, and transmittance T f or the films were studied in the visible and ultra-violet region (UV-VIS). In addition,we have calculated the absorbance coefficient α, skin depth δ, refractive index no, dielectric constant ε (the real part and the imaginary part), also we have calculated the energy band gap of allowed and forbidden direct transitions. The films showed high transmittance (80-90)%, in the infrared region as a function of the spinning velocity and took the maximum value 80% for the velocity 1000RPM, and 90% for the velocity 3000RPM, and the refractive index was decreased with the velocity increase, we found it between3.67 and 4.56 for the velocities 3000RPM and 1000RPM respectively. Whereas the skin depth δ decreased with the increasing of velocity, the minimum value was 0.0000531cm for the velocity 3000RPM and the maximum value was almost 0.00023cm for the velocity 1000RPM.
In this study we used electro spinning technology to obtain nonwoven webs of Nano fibers of poly vinyl alcohol and Nano particles of silver . we dissolve the polymer poly vinyl alcohol in it's solvent (water) to form a polymeric solution that we c harged it by positive charge and ejected it to leaving it on a collector that we charged it by negative charge and used a high voltage. and we mixed the polymer poly vinyl alcohol with silver nitrate with different concentrations and electro spinning the mixture to obtain Nano fibers and Nano particles of silver then we applied heat treatment for the whole samples at 155°c for 5 minutes for tow aims the first one is to make crosslinking between series of PVA and the second is for the stability of silver nanoparticles , finally we analyze samples on Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM .

اهتمت هذه الدراسة بتطوير صناعة مواد بوليميرية جديدة، و نظراً للأهمية الكبيـرة لعديـد التكـاثف البولي إيبوكسي، قمنا بدراسة قساوته عندما يكون نقياً، و من ثم شكّلنا خلائط منه مع عديد تكاثف آخـر هو البولي فينوكسي بنسب محددة مختلفة، كما قمنا بتشكيل صفائ ح كومبوزيت من الخلائط السابقة مـع ألياف الزجاج تارة و الألياف الصخرية تارة أخرى و حددنا قساوتها. رافقت دراسة القساوة للعينات السابقة، دراسة لأطيافها ما تحت الحمراء و ذلـك لمقارنـة التركيـب بالقساوة، هذا و نوقشت تطبيقات هذه المادة في الحياة العملية أيضاً.
