In some applications we try to avoid the transfer of heat by convection, especially through monomur bricks. The solution of this problem consist in division the cavity by putting number of columns between the two external surfaces. We've studied heat transfer in different profiles of monomur brick. The results of the numeric simulations are studied by following the two approaches (local and whole). The local approach consists of studying the heat transfer during every cavity. While the whole approach consists of study the heat transfer in whole cavity. The numeric simulation was achieved by following the finished volumes and Fluent program that solves the equations of the mass' conservation, movement and energy. It's clear that the position of columns allows passing from convective regime into conductive regime inside the cavity. The optimal solution is to homogeneous partition by columns. Finally, we've a method allowing as to define the heterogeneous structure (number of columns and their thickness, thickness of a variable cavities).

Direct steam generation in parabolic trough collector (DSGPTC) has had a great importance because of its thermoeconomic advantages and many researches have be done in this field. Due to that reason this paper studies the convection heat transfer from absorber tube of a PTC to all phases of water (liquid water, wet steam and dry steam) along the whole distance of fixed length of a DSG-PTC generates a high temperature superheated steam (561 °C). All heat transfer operations in PTC has been modelled and then the convection' components which are; fluid temperature, tube wall-fluid temperatures difference and heat transfer coefficient have been analyzed in details at different operation conditions such as inlet fluid pressure, direct solar beam and mass flow.
The purpose of this research is to apply a mathematical program to calculate water and chemical balance in unsaturated soils, under the influence of different methods of irrigation, in order to monitor the amount of vertical drainage of water insi de the soil and choose a irrigation method that can reduce the phenomenon of groundwater pollution. Three irrigation methods were tested with different fertilization method. The study was conducted in the western part of Homs Governorate (AlQusair orchards).
In this research, the quantity of vitamin C which extracted from fresh fruits and vegetables was evaluate by using titration method with 6-2 Dichloro phenol andovinol, and studying the effect of conservation and different temperatures (30, 60, 90) °C which used in cooking on content of vitamin C for some samples. Also this search included studying of the effect of iron ions on content tomato, orange and lemon of vitamin C. The results showed that the concentration of vitamin c in studied samples: parsley, red pepper, green pepper, lemon, orange and tomato was (8, 22, 36, 144, 175, 133) mg/100g respectively. Losing of the vitamin was (66%, 65%) when we save the leaves and stalk of parsley for 24 hours respectively, when exposure the parsley leaves to the temperatures (30, 60, 90) c° the losing percentage was (24 %, 41%, 62 %), While the losing was (79%, 65%, 39%) when injected each of tomatoes, oranges, lemons with dissoluble of iron.
تكمن أهمية هذا البحث في دراسة انتقال الحرارة بالحمل ضمن تجاويف القرميد الموجودة في جدران المباني، مكنت هذه الدراسة من إيجاد مرجعية للأبحاث العديدة المنجزة ضمن هذا المجال بهدف التحقق من وثوقية النتائج المحصول عليها ضمن الحالة الخاصة المتعلقة بالقرميد الجداري المقسم عمودياً. هذا الإجراء كان بهدف استخدام هذه النتائج من أجل تطوير هذا القرميد مستقبلاً. تمت الدراسة من خلال النمذجة العددية بطريقة الحجوم المنتهية و استخدام برنامج الـ Matlab، و ذلك لتجويف واحد من هذه التجاويف الموجودة و المميز بثلاثة مقادير لابعدية و هي نسبة الاستطالة (A) و عدد ريلية(Ra) أو عدد غراشوف(Gr) و عدد براندل(Pr). هذه النمذجة تؤكد في الواقع أنه من أجل التجاويف الضيقة بشكل كاف مع الفوارق الصغيرة لدرجات الحرارة، بأن انتقال الحرارة بالحمل يكون قابلاً للإهمال و قد تم التحقق من ذلك من خلال تطور عدد نوسل الموضعي كتابع للارتفاع. بالإضافة لذلك فقد استبعدنا التأثير المحتمل لأطراف التجويف (العلوي و السفلي) على هذه النتيجة (أياً كانت الشروط الحدية لهذين السطحين الأفقيين من نوع البروفيل الخطي لدرجة الحرارة أو من النوع الأديباتي) و ذلك بحساب عدد نوسل لشفرة الهواء و الذي يساوي مهما يكن الارتفاع، و هذا ما يسمح باعتبار أن انتقال الحرارة يتم بالتوصيل و أن تأثير الأطراف قابل للإهمال.
