The aim of this study is to find out the effect of the plyometric exercises on the explosive power of the sample. The sample of the study is 12 volleyball female players of the coastal army club the experimental method was used with two equated groups. The experimental group has undergone a training program with plyometric exercises, designed by the researcher, for six weeks. While the controlling group followed normal training of the club. The study concluded that there is a positive and active effect of plyometric exercises on the development of the explosive power. The ratio of improvement was (7.282%) for the designed program. While the ratio of improvement for those who applied the traditional training program of the club was (2.43%).So the positive effect on the level of the vertical jump increased and that positively reflected on development of players' level.

The aim of this study was to identify the effect of the use of water plyometric exercises on improving the level of achievement in the 100 meter race in the players of the University of Hama. Therefore, These exercises were developed in a training program that was nominated by several specialized experts. The sample consisted of (12) players from the University of Hama. The experimental method was used in the two groups (experimental - control) Experimental for the experimental program And the control group underwent their normal exercises. A 100 meter test was applied to the control and experimental groups before and after the program was implemented. The results were compared. The study concluded that the plyometric water exercises had a positive effect on improving the achievement level in the 100 meters race in the group which applied the training program.
One of the skills that should be possessed by block players in volleyball is reaction speed. It effectively influences the player’s ability to block strong shots from the opponent correctly. However, response time is influenced by how much the play er benefits from the prime which is provided around him to prepare for the next movement. When a player effectively prepares for the required movement in advance, these information are processed more rapidly, and thus, we notice an improvement in the player’s reaction time. Thus, we have conducted this study to find out the effect of special exercises designed for motor preparation on reaction speed for block players center (3) in volleyball . For the current study, we have used the priming test, suggested by Rosenbaum and Kormblum (1982) as a prior test and a follow-up test for both test group and blocked group, in order to figure out the effect of providing primes on the player’s reaction time. The primes provided were either identity for the required movementor neutral. We have followed the method of calculating the number of correct attempts executed by the players, in order to infer the change in their reaction speed. The results revealed improvement in the number of correct attempts for test group after applying the suggested training program in the two situations (identity-neutral). Therefore, we find that the applied program has contributed to an increase in the number of correct executed attempts, which suggests an increase in the speed of processing the information, leading to enhancing the reaction speed in block players center (3). In light of these findings, we have recommended the necessity of using the suggested training program as part of the training plans provided for Syrian volleyball teams. This recommendation is due to the program’s importance in improving reaction speed, on which most offensive and defensive skills in this game depends. We have also recommended the necessity of conducting further research and study, based on modern training methods.
This research is carried out on a sample of 8 players who are setters selected from the Syrian ladies teams. The researcher used the experiential method because it suits the nature of the research, and divided the sample into two groups: experimental and control group. The researcher carried out a pre-test on the two groups. Then the experimental program was put into practice for 8 weeks, three training units per week for the experimental group. Later a post–experimental test, similar to the pre-test, was carried out on the two groups, the experimental and control group. The researcher concludes that the exercises that were used in the program had led to considerable improvement of performance by the experimental group.
The study aimed to identify some of the selected anthropometric measurements and the explosive strength and the relationship between them in addition to the impact of practical program for the first semester of college on each of the explosive streng th and the selected anthropometric measurements of the female students in the first year in the Faculty of Physical Education at Tishreen University. To determine that, the study was conducted on a sample of (45) students and used the descriptive approach, and collected physical measurements as well as selected vertical jump test of fortitude. The study showed the following results: The existence of a correlation between the explosive power and the length of the lower limb and, a lack of correlation between the explosive strength and the length of the trunk with the head. The researcher recommended that attention should be payed to the standards of physical measurements as criteria for admission to the terms of reference for physical education .The researcher also recommended the faculty can take advantage of the connectivity relations between measurements and physical fitness components in the development of motor skills and capabilities.
