أجريت الدراسة لمعرفة تأثير التربية الداخلية في مقاييس الجسم لأمهار الخيول العربيـة الـسورية الأصيلة خلال مرحلة الرضاعة. جمعت 10 بيانات من مقاييس الجسم في مركز الشهيد باسل الأسد لتربية الخيول العربية الأصيلة، في محافظة ريف دمشق. و شملت 108 من أمهار الخيول العربية الأصيلة مؤلفة من 48 أنثى و 60 ذكراً، راوحت أعمارها جميعاً من 1 إلى 6 أ شهر. و ضمت المقاييس المدروسة كـلاً من ارتفاع الحارك، و ارتفاع الكفل، و طول الجسم الكامل و طول الظهر، و عمق الصدر، و عرض الـصدر، و محيط الصدر، و محيط الرقبة، و عرض الكفل و طول عظم المشط للساق الأمامية. جمعت أشجار النـسب من كتاب الأنساب للخيول العربية السورية الأصيلة، و ضمت الدراسة أربعة أجيال نسب. أجـري التحليـل الإحصائي باستخدم النموذج الخطي العام (GLM) لدراسة أثر التربية الداخلية في الصفات المدروسـة.
This study had been carried out to investigate the effect of inbreeding on some morphological traits in purebred Syrian Arabian foals. Data of 10 body measurements for 108 horses included 60 colts and 48 fillies were collected at Bassel Al-Assad stud for purebred Arabian horses. It consisted of wither height, croup height, complete body length, back line length, chest depth, chest width, chest girth, neck girth, croup width, and cannon bone length for front legs. Pedigree data were extracted from stud book of purebred Syrian Arabian horses with four ancestor generations and Inbreeding coefficients were estimated. General linear model (GLM) was used to study the effect of inbreeding on studied traits. The results cleared that growth rate for biometric traits in Syrian Arabian foals similar to other Arabian foals in different regions. On other hand, it was different from growth rate of foals of other breeds.

The aim of this study was to assess and analysis the morphology of the nose and
examine their relationships with the facial growth types according to Jarabak and their

of variance Kruskall-Wallis one-way ANOVA and Mann-Whitney U-tests of statistical
test. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between each of the angle
