this paper illustrates two methods of having a desired sectoral pattern using the techniques of antenna synthesizing ,we will calculate the array excitation coefficients by using Fourier transform and Woodward method , beside studying the effect of increasing the array elements on the desired radiation pattern and the side loop level at a constant distance. Finally we will compare the results of the two methods showing their advantages and disadvantages.

This paper illustrates a design of linear array antenna equal space and non uniform excitation using Dolph – Chebyshev method , We will discuss the designing procedure for antenna array having odd or even number of elements at two different values of the major to minor sidelobe level and at various between spaces , we will calculate the excitation coefficients and plot the radiation pattern for each case in addition to calculate both of the half power beam width angel and directivity. Finally : two curves will be plotted : first of them for beam broadening factor as a function of the major to minor sidelobe ratio ,the other one for directivity as a function of the array length.
We will first introduce the basic ingredient of Fourier methods in section 1, then we will do some analysis on the Fourier approximation, in the last section, we will apply the Fourier method to solve some ODEs . we will write Matlab code for num erical result .
A common challenge in designing a wireless system is to overcome the effects of the wireless channel, such as multi-path propagation, and Inter-symbol Interference. and the ability of OFDM to combat the effects of multi-path propagation made it th e modulation of choice for third and fourth generation networks. In OFDM system we transmit data symbols on a large number of subcarriers, and these data symbols exposed to changes in amplitude and phase, caused of noise and frequency selective fading and Doppler shift . To get the transmitted data at the receiver we must cope with these changes, so we need to know the channel response at every subcarrier and every symbol, and for that reason we use PILOTS and we use many methods to estimate the channel response depend on pilots, and the most important channel is LMMSE Method. We will discuss in these issue the wiener filtering method (LMMSE) which give best performance but it is very complicated, so we will use Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) to reduce the complexity of these method and we will study the BER and MSE in both case when we use QPSK or 16QAM Modulation .
This article proposes a possible improvement for a printed logperiodic dipole antenna (LPDA). The improvements makes the antenna capable to operate over a multi frequency bands between (0.5 – 12) GHz. This antenna has a small dimension suitable for any mobile application.
Increasing data rate in optical communication systems leads to nonlinear electromagnet phenomenon in optical signal along fiber, and causes distortion in it.Thefiber dispersion is a linear phenomenon that causes difficulties toachieve high bit rate a nd distance product. The limiting of nonlinear effects requireslow input power level, but this induces lowsignal to noise ratio. So, we search another solutions. This paper studies Split Step Fourier Transform Algorithm (SSFTM) used to solve partial differential nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE).Then, we use it for simulating optical signal propagating in fiber by using MATLAB program, and designing fiber optic block could add it to MATLAB Simulink Library. Finally ,in this paper, we achieved results for selecting important parameters in single mode fiber for high bit rate, for improving bit error rate and Qcoefficient.
