The research Studies genetic relationships among Triticum L. and Aegilops L. species by direct sequencing of PCR-amplified internal transcribed spacer (ITS) of nuclear ribosomal DNA to investigate the polymorphism in nucleotide sequences among 8 Aegilops L. and 7 Triticum L. species. ITS sequences were aligned with CLUSTAL W 2.1 multiple sequence aligment program. The phylogenetic relationships among species were reconstructed using Unweighted Pair Group Mean Arithmetic Average (UPGMA) and neighbor-joining (NJ) methods.

This research was conducted at the farm of Abu-Jarash, Faculty of Agriculture, Damascus University. The aim of this research was to evaluate the performance and productivity of 9 bread wheat (T. .aestivum )and 3 durum wheat T. durum. The experiment was laid out in a Random Complete Block design (RCPD) with three replication.
Five species of the genus Poa L. from (Poaceae) were collected and studied in Lattakia, they are : P. annua ، P.infirma ، P. pratensis ، P. bulbosa ،P. nemoralis. This study put data base of the morphological features which included : habit, leaves , ligule, the structure of the inflorescence , spikelet, floret, micro-morphological characteristics which contained the epidermal structure of abaxial leaf surface, and the difference between costal and inter-costal zones of the 5 species, studying of pollen grain clarified the similarity in shape but there was a simple difference in measurements . Then , data from micro and macro morphological study were used to made a Dendrogram by using Statistica . The dendrogram showed the linkage of two annual species P. annua ، P.infirma in a cluster , every one of three another species had his specific cluster , P. nemoralis was closer to the annual species .
This research was conducted to determine the most responsive phenological stage for supplementary irrigation of the durum wheat in a primary stationary region. It consisted of six different water treatments in addition to control (non irrigated) : 1-From planting to seedling emergence; 2-From planting to tillering; 3-From planting to booting; 4-From planting to flowering; 5-From planting to the end of the milk stage; 6–Sowing irrigation and irrigation according to necessity throughout the milk stage. The study has been repeated in four blocks for three seasons from 2002 to 2005. The results of the first two seasons showed that the: The treatment from planting to booting, was canceled because of the rain and soil dampness during this growth period. A significant increase in production, water use efficiency, and one 1000 kernel weight, of both 5th and 6th treatments was noticed in comparison with other treatments and the control. Results of the three seasons were varied due to the environmental variation in temperature and amount of rainfall.
This research was conducted at Tal Shnan village, located at the eastern of Homs city, Syria during 2012/ 2013 growing season, using hard local wheat cultivar, Sham 5, to study the effect of seed rates (120, 150, 180, 210 kg/ha), spray with differ ent parts of sorghum water extracts using different, and weeding on wheat yield and weeds accompany with the crop.
This study indicated the presence of different shapes and sizes of grains starch in Milky liquid (latex) for 10 speciec of genus euphorbia these: , E.geniculata , E.pilulifera , E. serpens, E.prostrata , E. thamnoides E. paralias , E. terracina, E . aleppica , E. peplus, , E. helioscopia which varied between: (Rod) ,(Spindle), (Slightly osteoid), (Osteoid), (Dumb-blle), (Ostcoid branched), intermediate forms with indentation and accessories , pollen grains werw: spherical, or oval-shaped 3-colporate, It is of the Euphorbia hirta- type , and Ornamentation Tectum coarsely reticulate in (E.geniculata) only, and fine reticulate in the others species , and size of a Pollen grains differed between species .The largest size found in E. geniculata (P= 46.21mμ , E = 44.68 mμ)For spherical shape and (P =42.56 = m μ, E =37.54 mμ )For elongated shape. The smallest size found in E.pilulifera (P=16mμ , E 15.62 =mμ)For spherical shape and (P = 17.68 m μ, E13 .12 =mμ ) For elongated shape.
