This research deals with comparable study of the specific composition of assemblages gastropoda and migratory species in four regions of Syrian coast, which differed by substrate nature and their exposure to pollution resources and rivers estuaries, They are as fallow:The Southern Region of Lattakia, AL Bhyss and AL Moelh South of Jableh, Estuary Assin. This research was done between April 2010 and April 2011. The samples were collected from the supralittoral ,littoral and sublittoral regions at depth 3m.

This study describes the changes in species composition of phytoplankton under different Si:N ratios from spring to summer of 2010 and 2011. For this purpose, natural Phytoplankton was cultured in mesocosmic experiments at two stations in the north ern part of Latakia coastal water. The abundance of phytoplankton was measured, and the specific composition of phytoplankton was determined. Diatoms dominated during 2010 and 2011, while Dinoflagellates did not compete with diatoms during this study. The enrichment experiment affected the species composition of the diatoms themselves, where the species Pseudo-nitzschia pseudodelicatissima Schil and Leptocylindrus danicus Cleve dominated under different Si:N ratios.
Doulty is a very important economic project that fit investment climate in the Syrian coast, Recommendation was the need to encourage the establishment of such projects in the Syrian coast, because of its economic feasibility.
Eleven genotypes of Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were tested at three diverse locations in the Syrian Coast during the 2015-2016 season under rain-fed conditions to assess these genotypes and to study the Genotypes x Environments Interactions , and yield stability across environments using 5 statistical measures of stability:{ X¯i, bi, and i according to Eberhart and Russell (1966), Stability Variance Index (2 i) according to Wricke and Weber (1980), Ecovalance Stability Index (Wi) according to Wricke (1962)}. Genetic material included 5 promising lines and 6 local varieties (provided by ACSAD and GCSAR).The experiment was designed using randomized complete block design with three replications, statistical data analysis was done, and least significant difference (L.S.D) test at 5% was applied for comparison of means. Significant differences were observed among bread wheat genotypes for grain yield (ton/ha), combined analysis of variance of grain yield across the three environments showed significant mean squares due to genotypes, environments and genotypes x environments interaction, suggesting differential responses of genotypes across studied environments and validity of stability analysis. Stability analysis for grain yield revealed that; the promising line ACSAD-1147 and Doma6 were more stable than other genotypes. Due to they had superior ranks for both average yield over environments and yield stability, which reveals the importance of these genotypes to reach varieties that combine relatively high yield and better stability in any future breeding programs.
This research was carried out during the period 08/28/2012 - 07/29/2013 in order to determine the qualitative composition of Puffer Fishes (Tetraodontidae) in the marine water of Latakia. Fish samples were collected from three stations (Borj Islam , Al madina al riyadiah and Jableh), the total of fishes were / 255 / individuals. All fish individuals were classified, preserved and placed at the High Institute of Marine Research Laboratory, some biological factors of the collected fish (K%, GSI%,HIS%) were studied. Results had revealed the presence of five species of Puffer Fish belong to three genera of Tetraodontidae: Lagocephalus sceleratus, L. spadiceus, L. suezensis, Sphoeroides pachygaster, Torquigener flavimaculosus. S. pachygaster species (migratory species from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea) has been recorded for the first time in the marine water of Syria. Results showed that L. suezensis were more coincidence species in the catch. The amounts caught of Puffer Fishes varied according to the stations; the highest was in Borj Islam. K% was almost similar in all species, while GSI% and HSI% varied according to the species and seasons.
SST satellite images analysis has showed many characteristics for a lot of mesoscale eddies in the Eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea. In this study, the SST analysis is focalised on the mesoscale eddies` formation at the Syrian coasts. We are also interested by their characteristics for their influences on the marine environment .
