This study was executed at Al-Asaad hospital in Lattakia between the period 01/01/2014 and 30/06/2015 and included 95 pregnancies with a prior cesarean (a year and a half before) and also an elective cesarean was executed to 30 patients while a trial of labor was executed to 65 patients. In studying the delivery way on this section, we noticed the following:  The rate of the vaginal birth after a prior cesarean reached:  69.3% when patients exposed to a trial of labor.  42.8% when patients had an unexperienced pelvis  60% when patients had an experienced pelvis  0% the rateofhysterorrhexisof a prior cesarean after a vaginal birth with a prior cesarean.  0% the rate ofHysterectomy and no parenthood or embryonal death happened.  There is an Abgar Index decrease in the first minute with the new births in the event of a duplicate cesarean delivery twice than it is in the case of vaginal delivery.  When the repetition of the prior indication for the first cesarean, this will lead to the failure of the vaginal birth after a prior cesarean.

The objective of this study was to compare the effect of using intravaginal sponges with intramuscular (IM) injection of prostaglandin hormone within the reproductive season and their effect on Lambing rate and birth rate in Awassi ewes. Thirty ewes were equally divided into two groups (G1 and G2). Intravaginal sponges impregnated with 60 mg of Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (MAP) were inserted into the ewes of the first group for 14 days, and were injected at the time of the withdrawal of sponges with 500 IU of equine Chorionic Gonadotrophin (eCG) at the first group ewes (G1). The ewes in second group (G2) were injected with double dose of 125 μg of prostaglandin (PGF2α) intramuscularly (IM) at 9 days apart. The ewes were naturally mated with fertile rams (ram / 5 ewes). The results showed that there were significant differences between groups (G1 and G2) in the Lambing rate (93.33% vs. 73.33%). The ewes of group (G1) outperformed the ewes of group (G2) in the percentage of twin births (42.86% vs. 18.18%), and the birth rate (1.43 vs. 1.18) with significant differences (P<0.05). We conclude from the study that treating ewes by using intravaginal sponges with eCG injection was better than the method of prostaglandin injection in raising the Lambing rate and birth rate in Syrian Awassi ewes, within the local Syrian conditions
The study was done in gyneco-obstetrics department of Tishreen University Hospital at Latakia during 1/1/2018 – 31/12/2018. The number of preterm birth was 160, while the total births was 1520. The percentage of preterm birth was 10,52%. The stronges t association was between PTB and PROM, the percentage was 40%. There was important correlation to urinary tract infection, the percentage was 35%. There was important correlation to multiple pregnancy, the percentage was 10,63%. There was correlation to hypertension, with percentage of 14,37%. Precedents of PTB increased the incidence of PTB, the percentage was 26,25%. Smoking has an important role in PTB, the percentage was 31,25%.
Many new books get published every year, and only a fraction of them become popular among the readers. So the prediction of a book success can be a very useful parameter for publishers to make a reliable decision. This article presents the study of s emantic word associations using the word embedding of book content for a set of Roget's thesaurus concepts for book success prediction. In this work, we discuss the method to represent a book as a spectrum of concepts based on the association score between its content embedding and a global embedding (i.e. fastText) for a set of semantically linked word clusters. We show that the semantic word associations outperform the previous methods for book success prediction. In addition, we present that semantic word associations also provide better results than using features like the frequency of word groups in Roget's thesaurus, LIWC (a popular tool for linguistic inquiry and word count), NRC (word association emotion lexicon), and part of speech (PoS). Our study reports that concept associations based on Roget's Thesaurus using word embedding of individual novel resulted in the state-of-the-art performance of 0.89 average weighted F1-score for book success prediction. Finally, we present a set of dominant themes that contribute towards the popularity of a book for a specific genre.
This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of the use of Platelet- Rich Fibrin on immediat complication following impacted mandibular third molar surgery. forty extractions of bilateral impacted mandibular third molars were performed in 20 volunt eers (18 to 25 years old). After extraction of right and left mandibular third molars, the socket at 1 side received the autologous PRF (test group) and the other was filled with blood clot (control group) .
