The research aims to study the possibility of using practical methods to monitor the geodetic vertical deformations, and to study the engineering of the origin of the strengthened carbon fiber. Because of proposed changes in the construction status of some of its elements, the study will be accompanied by simulation of the proposed changes by adding additional live and dead loads, that are equivalent to the new situation. This study will be made by measuring the vertical displacements for some points of those elements within optimal control network based on geodetic network confidence requirements. This study will also assess the potential use of electronic digital high accuracy levels and the supplied software. The research succeeds in showing the possibility of quantifying the potential deformations in reinforced elements, as well as the efficiency of the proposed method of control and the equipment used.

Modern Natural Language Processing (NLP) makes intensive use of deep learning methods because of the accuracy they offer for a variety of applications. Due to the significant environmental impact of deep learning, cost-benefit analysis including carb on footprint as well as accuracy measures has been suggested to better document the use of NLP methods for research or deployment. In this paper, we review the tools that are available to measure energy use and CO2 emissions of NLP methods. We describe the scope of the measures provided and compare the use of six tools (carbon tracker, experiment impact tracker, green algorithms, ML CO2 impact, energy usage and cumulator) on named entity recognition experiments performed on different computational set-ups (local server vs. computing facility). Based on these findings, we propose actionable recommendations to accurately measure the environmental impact of NLP experiments.
Ship collision accidents are considered of the most serious incidents, due to the subsequent disastrous results both in terms of economic losses in ships and cargo, and the loss of human life as well as the great environmental pollution caused by i t. Therefore, continuous efforts are being made by research centers in order to understand the structural response of the hull as a result of these incidents and accurately analyzed. This research is interested in assessing the residual structural strength of a ship exposed to collision through the internal energy and the various structural stresses generated within it. The case is modeled for an oil tanker exposed to collision by the bulbous bow of another vessel moves at different speeds and different angles. The structural strength of the middle section of the struck ship was analyzed based on the numerical methods using Ansys Dynamic Explicit program. Which allowed the development of a clear vision for the structural changes and internal stresses energy with time during the collision process.
The mixed use of steel bars and carbon rods in concrete beams can offer beams with different behaviour from that of steel reinforcement only. This paper studies the case of reinforcing concrete beams with two layers of bars, and the main parameters investigated are the proportion and the distribution of carbon rods in the cross-section. Four groups containing 12 beams are tested, and each is reinforced with 4 bars located in two layers. The first group includes three control beams reinforced with steel bars, while the second includes three beams reinforced with carbon bars. Each of the third and fourth groups includes three beams reinforced with two steel bars and two carbon bars, whereas in the third group, steel bars are located above carbon ones, but in the fourth group, steel bars are located under carbon ones. Concrete beams reinforced with carbon rods in the second group exhibit a higher load carrying capacity and deflections, compared with other beams. However, the beams in the third and fourth groups have approximately the same load carrying capacity and the same behaviour up to the load level equal to 75% of their load carrying capacity. But after that, the beams in the fourth group become more deformed, compared with those of the third group.
This study was carried out in AL-ASSAD University Hospital during the years 2005- 2015, and included 56 patients who have been treated of gastric cancer. Male: Female ratio was 1:1.85, the peak incidence was in the 6th and 7th decades 60%, the heig hest incidence was in lower third of stomach in 65% of cases. Adenocarcinoma (FUNGATING FORM) was the most common pathological macroscopic form 45%,. The most common operation was subtotal gastrectomy 71.05% with Omega, Brown anastomosis 52.63%, interiorly of the colon, in the two third of cases.D1 dissection was performed in 92.1% of cases, compared with D2 dissection which was performed in 6.9% of cases.Spleenectoy was performed in 15.7% of cases, and the cholecystectomy was performed in 2.5% of cases.Stage ɪɪ and stage ɪɪɪ constitute 90% of cases.
