هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على تأثير الإعاقة السمعية على النمو التواصلي عند الأطفال ضعاف السمع، و لتحقيق هدف الدراسة طورت الباحثة أداة الدراسة المكونة من 13 فقرة. و تمّ الوصول إلى صدق و ثبات مقبولين للأداة، باستخدام صدق المحتوى و صدق التجانس الداخلي، و استخرجت معاملات الثبات بطريقة كرونباخ ألفا و الإعادة و التجزئة النصفية. و شملت عينة الدراسة (50 ) أسرة من أسر المعوقين سمعياً. و أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن أكثر مشكلة شيوعاً هي: يطلب إعادة الكلام، و يجد صعوبة في متابعة الحديث و أدنى مشكلة شيوعاً من المشكلات التواصلية هي: يبتعد عن الآخرين. و اشارت النتائج و عدم وجود فروق دالة في تأثير الإعاقة على النمو التواصلي عند الأطفال ضعاف السمع باختلاف جنس الطفل، كما توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة في تأثير الإعاقة على النمو التواصلي عند الأطفال ضعاف السمع باختلاف المستوى التعليمي للوالدين.
This study aims to identifythe effect of hearing impairment on the the development
of communication of poor-hearing children. Validity and reliability have been examined
for the instrument and were approved to be usedin the current study.The instrument was
developed by the researcher and consisted of (32) items. The Sample consisted of (50)
families of the hearing impaired children.
The most frequent problemswerethe child’s request for repeating the speech and
were related to finding difficulties in continuing the conversation. The least common
problem was that the child moved away from others. The finding showed that there were
no significant statistical differences in the effect of gender of poor-hearing children on the
development of communicationand in their parents’ educathional level.
