The thickness of the diffusion layers was studied, along with the phases and the microstructure and composition, across the depth in diffusion zone. The obtained results proved the effect of nitriding system in the growth of the diffusion layers on surface of double composite martensitic - austenitic alloy steel. Analysis of mechanical and tribological characteristics of treated double composite steel under dry friction was also studied. It was found that diffusion treatment had a significant influence on work capacity of tested alloy. Stability of alloy after nitriding was (2.5-4) times higher in magnitude compared to untreated alloy.

This research showed the great importance for following studies of the effect of polluted phosphoric acid, produced in General Fertilizer Company, on the high corrosion resisting alloys, to reach suitable alloys for equipments and machines used for its production, because of its high corrosion rates that create many corrosion problems in these equipments and machines.
This research aims to facilitate the operation of machining alloyed steel ,which contains specific ratios of nickel, chromium, magnesia, titanium and copper, through three-direction compressed cooling by, liquid mixture. The mixture is composed of p ressed water, pressed air, oil, salt and sulfur. Compressed mixture was used previously but only in one direction. This work uses ternary directions vertical, horizontal and parallel to axis of work piece, which reduces the cost of expensive equipment. The research studies the reduction in the values of cutting forces and friction factor. In ordinary machining the chips was continuous but our method it is discontinuous. The cutting tools life was increased. the effect of the nozzle diameter was also studied on the friction factor and effect of the angleγ on the cutting forces and friction factor was investigated.
Design of experiments (DOE) had been used in the study, and the results had been evaluated by the surface response method. The results showed that the welding current is the main parameter by its effect on the mechanical studied properties and the parameters values which give the best responses had been determined.
This paper provides a mechanism to study aluminum diffusion microstructure, phase structure and different properties of the aluminized layer in carbon steel. The results of aluminized treatment in saturated medium lead to the formation of diffusion layer coating that contains iron aluminide and a- solid solution of aluminum in the unit cell of iron. The effect of aluminizing process parameters on the aluminizing layer, especially the effect of temperature and time, has been shown to increase the depth of the aluminized layer when temperature and time increase, but the effect of temperature is greater than time.
As a result of the industrial progress absolved by the world in all fields, new materials have been produced that have excellent engineering properties at low economical cost. Therefore, we have done this research by greening a composite material with a metal base (aluminum 6061) reinforced with stainless steel wire A304.
