في ظل ظروف يشهدها العالم المعاصر من دخول القطاع الخاص في معظم مجالات الحياة الاقتصادية, جاء هذا البحث لدراسة أثر خصخصة محطات الحاويات على درجة كفاءتها الفنيةTechnical Efficiency (TE) باستخدام أسلوب التحليل الحدودي العشوائي Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA), وقد طُبقت الدراسة على أهم محطات حاويات حوض البحر المتوسط, وقد خلُصت نتائج البحث إلى أنّ معدل الكفاءة الفنية بلغ 76.17%, وأنّ محطات الحاويات المملوكة من قبل القطاع الخاص لم تحصل على مستويات مرتفعة من الكفاءة الفنية, كما بيّنت نتائج البحث أنّ محطات الحاويات المملوكة من قبل القطاع العام حصلت على مستويات كفاءة أفضل من المحطات المملوكة من القطاع الخاص, حيث تظهر جدارة القطاع العام في إدارة محطات الحاويات أكثر من القطاع الخاص. إلا أنّ الكفاءة الفنية لمحطات القطاع العام تتحسن مع نسبة مشاركة مع القطاع الخاص, لذلك يُنصح بالمشاركة بين القطاع العام والقطاع الخاص وحسب نتائج البحث بنسبة 38.5% للحصول على أفضل نتائج للكفاءة الفنية.
In the light of the circumstances in the contemporary world of privatization, this research aims to study the effect of the privatization on the technical efficiency of container terminal using Stochastic Frontier Analysis, the study has applied on the most important Mediterranean container terminals. The results concluded that the technical efficiency rate was 76.17%. The full private ownership of container terminals does not reflect the high levels of technical efficiency. The full public ownership of container terminals also did not reflect the high levels of technical efficiency, but it is the best of the private sector. However, the technical efficiency of public container terminal can be improved with participation of the private sector, and advised partnership between the public sector and the private sector with rate of 38.5% according to the results of research.

The researcher analyzed the technical efficiency of container
ports, place where various modes of transportation in a series of international multimodal transport, and increasingly important with the growing interest in the transfer of global econom
y products by containers. Search has been applied on 61 container port in the Mediterranean, The research variables from the input side was: number of cranes, quays lengths and port area, and from the output side was: the number of containers, and the additional variables were: the quality of roads and railways in addition to the availability and use of technology communications in the process. The research
has been used Stochastic Frontier Analysis in efficiency
measurement and analysis of influences. The research found a
positive correlation between the efficiency of the container port and the quality of road networks between transit and rail up the container port areas of Foreign Affairs, in addition to the port over the application and use of communications technology in operations.
Container terminals are different in the degree of service for container ships, which
increased recently and especially in the Mediterranean, also differ in use of the amount of
inputs required for operational process, which create the problem of d
eclining technical
efficiency of container terminals Mediterranean. Therefore, the researcher measured the
efficiency (12) a major container terminal in the Mediterranean in 2010, using the Data
Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Where the inputs: Number of quay cranes, and space of
terminal, and the output was the annual throughput of containers. The practical results
showed that the rate of technical efficiency – (CRS) was 49%, while the rate of technical
efficiency – (VRS) 69.3%. Tangier container terminal achieved the best level of technical
and scale efficiency, While Mersin, Algeciras, and Tartous achieved the technical
efficiency only, while remaining terminals did not achieve any efficiency, Therefore
advisable to reconsider in their used inputs to improve their efficiency.
The Mediterranean Diet is a healthy diet which protects from many
diseases, but many factors could affect the adherence and vary from
country to country. The purpose of this study is to assess the
adherence to Mediterranean Diet of the sample, the
n studying the
economic and social factors and lifestyle which affect the
adherence to Mediterranean diet. The sample was composed of
1000 people (516) women (484) men aged from 18-65 years from
all the economic and social levels, they filled a semi-quantitative
food frequency questionnaire. we used the SPSS program.
This study aimed to measure technical efficiency of Islamic banks
in Syria. This study used data envelopment analysis (DEA) method
to estimate overall, pure and scale technical efficiency during the
period (2010-2015). to that end, constant return
to scale model and
variable return to scale model was used. It has also been using

return on equity ROE, through sample contains of six Syrian private banks a
nd six Syrian
insurance companies for period between 2011 and 2016. The results showed that the
managerial ownership effects on performance, while ownership dispersion does not affect
on performance, as well as the relationship between these variables difference in term of
industry the company belongs to. To enhance the performance of Syrian corporation, some
recommendations have been presented by the end of study.
