Transfer learning that adapts a model trained on data-rich sources to low-resource targets has been widely applied in natural language processing (NLP). However, when training a transfer model over multiple sources, not every source is equally useful for the target. To better transfer a model, it is essential to understand the values of the sources. In this paper, we develop , an efficient source valuation framework for quantifying the usefulness of the sources (e.g., ) in transfer learning based on the Shapley value method. Experiments and comprehensive analyses on both cross-domain and cross-lingual transfers demonstrate that our framework is not only effective in choosing useful transfer sources but also the source values match the intuitive source-target similarity.

This search include making laboratory tests on sandy soil samples ,wich were taken from Damascus Suburb (Alkastal-Maarona- Alsallema) and from Hama(Alsalameya), physical and clasificated tests were made besides oedometer tests, two limited cases w ere studied :maximum loose and maximum dense for each soil. Values of deformation modulus (E) were determined from oedometric compression curves at various compression levels, and then the experimental equations between deformation modulus and primary void ratio, and between modulus of lateral soil pressure and deformation modulus were concluded at maximum loose and maximum dense.
The ability to search the Web sites has become essential for many people. However many sites have problems in giving the user the needed information. Search operations are typically limited to keyword searches and do not take into consideration the u nderlying semantics of the content. The present technologies support most languages; Though Arabic is still not well supported. One of the main application areas of Ontology technology is semantics. Although there are many tools for developing Ontology’s in many languages, Arabic WordNet seems to be the only one that supports Arabic language. In this paper we will define the necessary steps to develop Arabic Ontology for university sites using Arabic WordNet, and check that the developed Ontology is clean.
While the field of style transfer (ST) has been growing rapidly, it has been hampered by a lack of standardized practices for automatic evaluation. In this paper, we evaluate leading automatic metrics on the oft-researched task of formality style tra nsfer. Unlike previous evaluations, which focus solely on English, we expand our focus to Brazilian-Portuguese, French, and Italian, making this work the first multilingual evaluation of metrics in ST. We outline best practices for automatic evaluation in (formality) style transfer and identify several models that correlate well with human judgments and are robust across languages. We hope that this work will help accelerate development in ST, where human evaluation is often challenging to collect.
This research is based on the study of sciences upon which Mohammed Moftaah's methodology depends as a source of cognitive and tributary, which is outside the scope of literary criticism; and that is through the access to the structure of this meth odology and analyze its scientific composition. The intended aim of this research is the access to the most important pillars of the Epistemology of this critic, and the detection of an important aspect in the critical construction which has not been studied yet. These sciences are: logic, mathematics, geometry, physics, biology, sociology, and information technologies. The methodology of this research is based on the extraction of the practical and the theoretical science that Moftaah has. and then making it an apparent and theorized substance , which says That Moftaah has succeeded at some of these sciences such as, , biology, Geometry, and some of them is based on formalism such as, mathematics, information technologies.
We study the task of learning and evaluating Chinese idiom embeddings. We first construct a new evaluation dataset that contains idiom synonyms and antonyms. Observing that existing Chinese word embedding methods may not be suitable for learning idio m embeddings, we further present a BERT-based method that directly learns embedding vectors for individual idioms. We empirically compare representative existing methods and our method. We find that our method substantially outperforms existing methods on the evaluation dataset we have constructed.
