Bacterial resistance to fluorinated quinolones has spread around the world within clinical isolates of Enterobacteriaceae, and the traditional mechanism of resistance involves the emergence of several genes responsible for bacterial resistance to quinolones and are chromosomes borne.
This study aimed to evaluate the F1 non ripening tomato hybrids for yield
components and some other biological and morphological traits in the green
house.
This investigation included the comparesion of six tomato hybrids during
tow years (1999,
2000). Under the green-house conditions.
It has been found significant differences among the investigated hybrids
regarding to yield, plant hight, leaves number, flowers number, and the periods
from germination to flowering, germination to ripening, and flowering to
ripening, but, there was no any significant variation in fruits number and fruit
setting rate.
WI٢٢٩١ and Tadmor, two barley lines widely grown in the Mediterranean
region were tested for powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei)
resistance together with the European differential tester set against six powdery
mildew isolates. The si
x cultures of powdery mildew developed from single
colonies were comprised of four powdery mildew isolates originating from Syrian barley lines and two cultures originating from Danish barley lines.
