The study was carried out at Soil Research Center in the province of Daraa
during 2011 in order to study some physical and moisture characteristics for
cinnamon soil, which occupies (48000 km²), equivalent to 26% of the area of the
Syrian Arab Rep
ublic and represents the cultivation of growing field crops
with a rainfall ranges between 150- 300 mm. The results showed that the
mechanical analysis for soil referred that its texture is clay with a good ability
to retain water, the field capacity rated between (30-38.85)%. The studied soil
has high value of available water (38.93mm) and useful water (25.69mm) in the
surface layer. The highest value of permanent wilting point and hygroscopic
moisture was reached in the final depth in studied profile soil, It was also
distinguished a high total porosity ranged between 51.78 and 55.59% with
a good air porosity amounted to 9.38 - 15.47 % in different depths and with the
decline to 5.51 % in the depth 30 - 45cm.
This research aimed to identify internet addiction among students of Damascus university-Darra Branch according to the variables of sex, specialization, achievement, economic status, sitting hours surfing the internet and the favorite websites. This
study was done by a descriptive analytic method. The sample was taken randomly of (674 students from all collages and institutes). Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) was built in
this study according to the steps which are used in a scale structure. The results showed the followings: The distribution is normal; there is no relationship between internet addiction and achievement. There is a significant positive relationship between internet addiction and economic statues. Sex factor hasn't any effects on internet addiction. There is no difference in internet addiction according to academic specialization except for some differences between students of literature and students of education, law, science and economy, where students of literature are more addictive. the average of sitting hours surfing the internet is (2.78) degrees out of four degrees, and the social websites had the highest rate of readers.
In 1964, Harrison talked about the spread of Erinaceus europaeus in
Europe.
Recently, studies have shown the existence of two species of hedgehogs
which are found in Europe and they belong to the genus Erinaceous. They are
as follows:
1- E. euro
paeus L.1758, and they are found in the West of Europe.
2- E. concolor M.1838, and they are found in the East of Europe.
The study has been done on 19 features of the skulls (10 males, 9 females)
which were collected from the South of Syria. We applied the biometrical
measurements according to the method (Miller, 1912). The most important
dimensions he used in the biometrical measurements are: (Nas I, MndI, mI).
This is according to the method of (Pucek1981), the skulls of the (E. concolor)
have higher values.
The results showed that the Syrian skulls are lower and shorter. So, we can
classify the hedgehogs in both Syria and Bulgaria from one genus called
E.concolor and the differences in the nasal index NasI are not important.
We Conclude:
1-The Hedgehogs in Syria, Near East area, Arab area and Asia Minor all
belong to the ( E.concolorMartin ) .
2-The hedgehogs found in the Asia Minor and the Arab area belong to the
genus (E . concolor).
Inhabitants' increase in the governorate of Daraa has great effect on civil
development, as it is the case in other governorates of Syria, this is quite evident
in the increase of inhabitants in civil centers, and its horizontal extension
continuo
usly.
Due to the importance of this subject, I studied it, where the research
included a survey of its problem that the continuous inhabitants' increase has
been the cause of the increase of the number and volume of civil centers during
the period between 1970-2010, where the rate of civilization increased by 14.3%
to 41.6% The number of inhabitants in the governorate is expected to reach
(1.631.005) inhabitants in the year 2025. that's with an increase of 505.005
inhabitants. The research included its importance, objective and courses, the
developed number of inhabitants in the governorate, and effective factors that
affect it, with the increasing number of civil centers. In addition to studying
indications of civil development such as education, health, culture, services,
industry, housing, then discussed their problems and impediments, such as the
increasing rates of inhabitants, the random housing, environmental pollution,
then presenting future suggestions and solutions for them.
A field study has been carried out in order to know the important species
belonging to the family Syrphidae Diptera . in some field in Ezraa & jellien of
Daraa governorate during the period 1/3 /2003 till 30/8/2003 .
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مواصفات الترب الغضارية لعـدد مـن المواقـع فـي
الجنوب السوري و ذلك من حيث التركيب الكيميائي و الخواص الفيزيائية و الميكانيكية. و مـن
نتائج هذه الدراسة قمنا بتطبيق التصنيفات العالمية للترب الغضارية ( جـداول, منحنيـات,
نماذج رياضية) على ترب المنطقة المدروسة, و من مقارنة النماذج الرياضية العالميـة مـع
نتائج دراستنا المخبرية قمنا باقتراح نموذج رياضي يربط بين طاقة الانتفاخ و قرينة اللدونة،
و آخر يربط بين قرينة الانكماش و طاقة الانتفاخ. و من ثم تحديد موقع هذه التـرب بالنسـبة
للتصنيف العالمي للترب الانتفاخية.
