- The objective of this study was to assess the level of air contamination by bacteria in the broiler houses in salamieh region that Famed of commercial breedings of broiler and relationship with some impact factors like (birds age- season-breedin g system - dust concentration) . - The numbers of bacteria (mesophile , staphylococci , streptococci and gram-negatives) and dust concentration were determined in 5 opened broiler houses and 5 closed broiler houses with chicken houses in different ages (1-6 weeks old) in summer and winter .
Amount of dusts deposition were determined amount of dusts deposition on Olives leafs and green houses in surrounding of cement manufactory in Tarrtous. Concentrations Zn, Fe,Ni,Cu,Mn Were determined. The results showed that dusts amount demonstr ates differ according to direction and distance of manufactory. It decay whenever moving away excluding southwest. It is signal to prospective finding another sources for immersion . Iron was the highest concentration followed by Nickel, Zinc and lastly copper. That a shows the contribution of cements manufactory Emission in air pollution. Therefore compounds of these elements fall down on components of ambient environment inclusively Olives leafs and green houses.
This study deals with the determination of the quantity of solid dust particles deposed on the leafs of some trees along Syrian coast and the concentration of some heavy metals in it (Zn, Fe, Pb, Cu, Ni, Cd, Co, Mn) .Some sites near to human and in dustrials activities , and others near to agriculture activities , and others relatively far from pollution sources has been selected. The results showed that the quantity of solid dust particles on leafs trees and concentration of heavy metals in it such as (Pb, Ni, Cd, Co) increasing near the industrials activities and dense traffic, and decreasing in the sites that relatively far from of pollution sources. However Cypress trees attach solid quantities more than Pride of china, following Rever red gum and Blue-leafed wattle and Oleander, and the Palm tree come in the last.
The potential health hazards of exposure to house dust come either from particulate matters and adsorbed semivolatile compounds, which become resuspended again. This research aimed to study the loss on ignition (LOI) of settled dust in two differ ent houses in Homs city during a year, The settled dust samples were collected by vacuum cleaner once a week, Then the samples were sieved and the LOI values were calculated. The maximum and minimum values of LOI were obtained in addition to monthly mean and median values. Upon the results of this research some suggestions were made to improve the public health.
