This research aims to analyze students views in service characteristics which are provided in Syrian state universities, faculty of Economy as example. Two variables have been examined which were physical and academic construction. Physical construction was measured using three dimensions; library services, medical care, and supplementary services. Academic construction were as follows: teaching members, teaching styles, and books. A questionnaire has been distributed to a 100 students at the faculty of economy at Aleppo University. 82 filled questions were analyzed. Most results were about disagree or neutral.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل أراء الطلاب لبعض خواص الخدمة المقدمة في الجامعات الحكومية السورية و بخاصة في الكليات التطبيقية- مثال كلية الاقتصاد في جامعة حلب. لقد تمت دراسة عنصري الملموسية و الأفراد من خلال قياس المقومات المادية و الأكاديمية. حيث تم قيا س المقومات المادية من خلال تقييم كل من العناصر الآتية: خدمات مكتبة الكلية، و الرعاية الطبية، و الخدمات المرافقة. أما المقومات الأكاديمية فتم قياسها من خلال أعضاء الهيئة التعليمية، و أساليب التدريس، و الكتب المقررة. و من أجل تحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة تم توزيع استبانة على مجموعة مؤلفة من 100 طالب و طالبة من طلاب كلية الاقتصاد في جامعة حلب, و كان منها 82 استبانة صالحة للتحليل الإحصائي. و كان من أهم نتائج هذا البحث: أن أغلب آراء الطلبة فيما يتعلق بالمقومات المادية و الأكاديمية كانت قريبة إلى غير الموافق أو الحياد في درجة توفر المكونات الأساسية لهذين المتغيرين.
This research study the status of the road transport sector of the passengers in the city of Lattakia, and identify the most important dimensions of the quality of service of public and private transport ,and has been measuring the quality of thes e services and the degree of customer satisfaction by the difference between the expectations and the perception of customers of the dimensions of the quality of those services, and to identify the differences between the two points of view of both passengers and drivers for the quality of road transport services. In addition to evaluating the currently scientific methods, the organizational culture , leadership style , method of work in the company under study, to identify the availability of basic requirements of the philosophy of continuous improvement. In the end, we have provided a summary of the most important results and some of the recommendations to improve the quality of road transport services for passengers in the city of Lattakia on the level of public and private transport.
The research aims at identifying the factors affecting the returns of loan portfolios of private commercial banks in Syria during the period (2007- 2012), where it was studying the behavior of the dependent variable represented in (Yield Loan Portfol ios) and the independent variables of (employment rate of deposits in loans, the size of the bank liquidity the age of the bank, the number of branches, and the capital adequacy ratio) is studied. Research findings There is a significant positive effect for independent variables, such as age of the bank, capital adequacy ratio (except Byblos Bank Syria) affecting loan portfolios returns on private commercial banks under study. There is not a statistically significant effect for independent variables like employment rates of deposits in loans, the size of the bank, and liquidity (except Byblos Bank Syria), and the number of the bank branches (except Bank of Syria and overseas) returns on the loan portfolios private commercial banks under study.
The research aims to know the role of credit risk management in the improvement of the banking performance in the commercial bank of Syria in Lattakia. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire was constructed and distributed to all credit management employee of the bank, (33 employees). After the study and analysis, the following conclusions were reached: 1- The credit management has a high efficiency, as it defines the appropriate size of credit regarding each client; it chooses the qualified and experienced people to work in the credit management, and each credit transaction get under specific analysis and comprehensive review by a qualified and experienced credit analyst. 2- In order to maintain the level of liquidity of the bank, the credit management amends granting credit criteria, to lead to the improvement of liquidity indicators, where the bank keeps appropriate voluntary liquidity in local and foreign currencies, because the good liquidity in the bank contribute to increase clients' confidence in the bank and its operations. 3- The credit management in the bank assesses the profitability in quantitive and objective way, and reviews the criteria of the granting on an ongoing basis, and modifies granting credit criteria in a way that lead to improve bank's profitability. 4- There is a direct correlation between the efficiency of credit risk management and,(low volume and number of non performing loans, improvement of bank's liquidity ratio, and improvement of bank's profitability).
This study aimed to evaluate the current mechanisms in support and development of small and medium enterprises in Syria, from the point of view of owners and managers of these Enterprise. The mechanisms of financing, technical, production, marketing, legislation and government policies have been studied and evaluated. The descriptive approach was used, The number of the distributed questionnaires and valid for the study (137) questionnaire, The data were analyzed using the statistical analysis program (SPSS). The results showed inadequate financial support mechanisms to initiate or expand the activity of the Enterprise under study, and a lack of diversity in their sources of funding. It also showed the inability of technical support mechanisms to provide the components of construction Enterprise, or reduce the time and cost of construction. It also showed the lack of legislative support mechanisms and government policies that reduce the financial burden on these Enterprise or contribute to reducing competition with large imports or Enterprise. It also showed the absence of productive support mechanisms that help to provide technological information for each industry of the Enterprise under study, or provide technical advice and expertise concerning machinery and equipment. The results also indicate the absence of marketing support mechanisms that contribute to small and medium enterprises access to new markets or global markets. The results also indicate the absence of mechanisms to support administrative cadres that contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises, as there are no mechanisms to train the workers of these Enterprise or to rehabilitate administrative leaders or to train production and marketing staff.
