The bacterial case of groundwater samples from Homs Governorate was studied to determine the bacterial load, Twenty-eight groundwater samples were collected from various areas (including areas of the western, northern and eastern governorates of the governorate) between March and July 2017. Where they were collected in sterile glass containers after opening and running the water for 5 minutes to avoid any external contamination.

3 composite samples were taken from each area from 3 different sites, and a number of physical and chemical analyzes were performed, and the results were linked to the climate factors, mother rock and fertilizing treatments.
Twenty plant and animal food samples were collected from different commercial stores. These samples were placed in a sterilezed plastic bags not to be polluted and were moved to the laboratory in special thermal containers to be tested. The solid samples were processed in the Digester to study each sample separately , while the liquid samples were tested immediately after being diluted. After that they were studied with biochemical tests to identify the type of germ that existed.
This research study we adopted economic and social realities of the two villages of Homs, village of Kattina and the village of Alkima village and to identify the most important crops in the village and on the animal species reared by parents.
One-hundred twenty-five random samples of fresh meat were aseptically collected from different shops and supermarkets distributed in Taif governorate. The samples were examined bacteriologically for aerobic plate counts, Enterobacteriaceae, Staphy lococcus aureus, and Lactobacillaceae counts, and for isolation and identification the bacterial strains detected. The aerobic plate count ranged from 3 ×103to 107/ g. The counts of Enterobacteriaceae, ranged from 6×106to 3×106/g, whereas the counts of Staphylococcus aureus ranged from 7 ×104 to 5×106/g. On the other hand, the counts of Lactobacillaceae ranged from 7 ×104to 4×106/g The bacterial counts of fresh chicken meat ranged from 5×104 to 15- 25×106/cm2.
This study was undertaken to evaluate the chemical speciation and distribution of Mn in soils of Homs Governorate. Sequential extraction scheme was used to fractionate Mn into exchangeable, bound to carbonate, bound to manganese (Mn) and iron (Fe) oxide, organically bound, and residual forms.
