In this work, we compare three different modeling approaches for the scores of soccer matches with regard to their predictive performances based on all matches from the four previous FIFA World Cups 2002 – 2014: Poisson regression models, random forests and ranking methods.

Sarcasm detection is of great importance in understanding people's true sentiments and opinions. Many online feedbacks, reviews, social media comments, etc. are sarcastic. Several researches have already been done in this field, but most researchers studied the English sarcasm analysis compared to the researches are done in Arabic sarcasm analysis because of the Arabic language challenges. In this paper, we propose a new approach for improving Arabic sarcasm detection. Our approach is using data augmentation, contextual word embedding and random forests model to get the best results. Our accuracy in the shared task on sarcasm and sentiment detection in Arabic was 0.5189 for F1-sarcastic as the official metric using the shared dataset ArSarcasmV2 (Abu Farha, et al., 2021).
The way of soccer analysis by using videos recordings are considered as one of methods that help to study and analyze some of sport behaviors such as goal kick and play 1 vs 1, which is carried out by the player on pitch during the match. The aim of this study is to continue presenting the newest and most important information about training method of goal kick. Thus this study focused on the goal kick case in soccer and analyzed it in many aspects in world cup 2014 in Brazil. All round of 16, Quarter -finals, Semi-finals and Final play have been recorded -16 plays in total- and then they were analyzed according to the thesis aims. It showed that the average of goals in each game was 2,18 and the most important areas in which recorded goals were No. 3,2and 6 and one- third of goals scored were distributed on the last ten minutes of the match.
In this article, we show and discuss our experience in applying the flipped classroom method for teaching Conditional Random Fields in a Natural Language Processing course. We present the activities that we developed together with their relationship to a cognitive complexity model (Bloom's taxonomy). After this, we provide our own reflections and expectations of the model itself. Based on the evaluation got from students, it seems that students learn about the topic and also that the method is rewarding for some students. Additionally, we discuss some shortcomings and we propose possible solutions to them. We conclude the paper with some possible future work.
This work aims to analyze the performance of the microwave radio link’s parameters used to connect different systems and intra systems. Fuzzy logic technique is used to study the difficulties of the radio link’s parameters based on type of modulati on, and distance between the receiver and transmitter. Four parameters are used as an input parameters for the fuzzy logic system mainly: required power, the length of the microwave radio link, modulation type and the signal to noise ratio(S/N). The output parameter is determined to be the microwave link capacity. Analytical study to select the optimal microwave radio link parameters to examine the efficiency of the radio link capacity will be shown. Additionally, studying the input and output memberships of the microwave radio link parameters using fuzzy logic will be explained.
In this research we will find a law of the large numbers for random convex – concave closed functions, and generalize some results related to lower semi- continuous functions to similar results concerning the convex– concave functions, and that will be done with using the parent convex functions and the Mosco-epi \ hypo-convergence.
