أجريت التجربة على عشرين أرنبًا من الأرانب المحلية المتوفرة في كلية الزراعة عام ١٩٩٩ ، رقمت هذه الأرانب و وزعت إلى مجموعتين حسب موعدي الفطام ٢٨ و ٤٢ يومًا، كانت ظروف الإيواء و التغذية واحدة في كلتا المجموعتين. و استنتج بأنه لا يوجد تأثير سلبي للفطام المبكر على إنتاجية الأرانب المحلية من اللحم.
This study was conducted at the farm of the Faculty of Agriculture (Damascus Univ.), using twenty local rabbits. These rabbits were housed, managed and fed under the same conditions. They were identified and distributed into two groups according to the weaning times (٢٨ vs ٤٢ days). It was concluded that weaning time has no significant effect on meat proportion in local rabbits.

For studying the effect of cadmium sulphate on some physiological components
of blood in male white rabbits. we used (12) animals divided in to two groups (6 animals
per group).the experimental one became aqueous cadmium sulphate (5 mg/kg) orally,
while the control became water for 28 days (4 weeks).
We reported significant decrease (p<0.01) in the count of red blood cells ,
Hematocrit values and Hemoglobin concentration.
The present study aimed to investigate the effect of calyx aqueous extract of Hibiscus
sabdariffa on liver enzymes Alanine and Aspartate Transaminases (ALT and AST)level.
(12) Rabbits were used and divided into two groups : (6) the experimental gro

(6) control group ,the control group became distilled water , while the experimental group
received aqueous extract, that was administrated orally in adose of150 mg / kg body
weight (b.w.) daily for28 days .Then blood was collected each 48 hours , the serum
samples were taken and prepared to the biochemical tests to determine Alanine and
Aspartate Transaminases (ALT and AST)level.

during the period from March 1ST until the beginning of July 2001 to determine
some productive parameters in local Syrian female rabbits.
Seventy six adult females and twelv
e bucks from the local rabbits were used
in the present study. These animals were divided according to their color into
five groups (6 females each). The colors were white, black, white and black ,
red, gray and one group (7 female) of brown color. The animals were housed
individually in cages. The females of each group were randomly bred with tow
bucks. The parameters studied were: conception rate, gestation period and
litter size at birth, 7 days, weaning (28 days), 56 days and at the Age of 84 days.
This study was done in special apiary ( Lattakia province ) to define the effect of adding some vitamins (A,B,C) on the nutrition of the local honeybee colonies at the rate of acceptation in the plastic and wax cups are grafted with larva; and in the productivity of royal jelly , this study was carried out during two period : nectar flow season and nectar poor season.
The aim of this study was comparing between three potato cultivars: "Afamia,
Loulou and Tadmur" which are planted in two different times (spring time and autumn
time), for the plant old age and some yield properties and some quality properties. Aft

ripping and harvesting, result showed superior Loulou to Afamia and Tadmur in most
parameters at the two planting times, so the productivity of Loulou was more than Afamia
by 6 ton/h in the spring and 1.6 ton/h in the autumn. For the starch and dry matter content,
Loulou tubers in the two planting times contained more amount than the other cultivars,
and more than the global average (%14 starch, %22 dry matter).
