This research was conducted to study the effectiveness of the variations of magic latin square design, to reduce the value of the experimental error, in experiences of microbiological (Lactobacillus acidophilus), and to improve the activity of ran dom rectangles as one source of the variations of magic latin square design. Where they were conducting a random distribution of (6) treatments supposed to (36) experimental unit test has repeated the process of distribution (150) times in order to obtain magic latin squares realized the conditions which show per treatments once in the row and once in the column, and once in each rectangle within the one design.
Identifying intertextual relationships between authors is of central importance to the study of literature. We report an empirical analysis of intertextuality in classical Latin literature using word embedding models. To enable quantitative evaluatio n of intertextual search methods, we curate a new dataset of 945 known parallels drawn from traditional scholarship on Latin epic poetry. We train an optimized word2vec model on a large corpus of lemmatized Latin, which achieves state-of-the-art performance for synonym detection and outperforms a widely used lexical method for intertextual search. We then demonstrate that training embeddings on very small corpora can capture salient aspects of literary style and apply this approach to replicate a previous intertextual study of the Roman historian Livy, which relied on hand-crafted stylometric features. Our results advance the development of core computational resources for a major premodern language and highlight a productive avenue for cross-disciplinary collaboration between the study of literature and NLP.
This research aims to treat an important issue in the field of Latin Characters design, which concentrates on the role of the typography and its function in Graphic Design. This issue has abstractive conceptual dimensions as well as embodied visual ones because Typography has visual effects that help in understanding and clarifying the design which are as important as the image. Most of the time, Typography replaces the image and its significations as if it emerged from the abstract to the concrete, so the image symbolizes the abstract or signifies it. In fact, Serif Type appeared first, then was followed by Sans serif type; yet, the big/ small, thick/ thin characters has accompanied the journey of the two typographic until the Swiss has established basics and rules during the 1950s which they called Modernized Typography that dominated for a long while. Later on, reactions against it led to create designs that do not conform to any of the Swiss rules. Thus, new visual theories has emerged which were called by researchers Postmodernism in typographic design. In our research, we are going to discuss the types of characters that were widely spread and became like schools which were the center of argument between designers since the 20th century up to date.
HCI and NLP traditionally focus on different evaluation methods. While HCI involves a small number of people directly and deeply, NLP traditionally relies on standardized benchmark evaluations that involve a larger number of people indirectly. We pre sent five methodological proposals at the intersection of HCI and NLP and situate them in the context of ML-based NLP models. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and progress in both fields by emphasizing what the fields can learn from each other.
This paper describes a case study in which we documented six examples of design changes. Then they are analyzed in two directions, the first is related to assessing the efficiency of the tools of BIM towards design changes and discovering their weaknesses, while the second is related to analyzing the characteristics of these changes within the information model of BIM and presenting them in the modeling of the change process.
