This study was carried out in the nursery gardens of Tishreen University in the early spring period in 2014, to study the effect of different levels of dry organic manure in the growth and productivity of potato plants (class Spunta), in randomized complete design, study included six treatments: control ( cow organic manure amount of 4 kg/m2) and five treatment with five levels of dry organic manure (100-150-200-250-300 g/m2) .The results showed an increase in stem height, number of stem, foliage area, production and percent of standard tubers by adding dry organic manure at level of 250 g/m2 while Treatment with 300g/m2 contributed an increase of folige area, height of plant and stem number while causing reduced plant production, tuber average weight and production of standard tubers. The result showed also no significant differences between the control and the treatment of 250 g/m2dry organic manure in each of the folige area, production and standard tubers

The study was carried out at Tishreen University nursery during the spring of 2015 in order to evaluate the effect of the bio-fertilizer EMI on the growth and production of Sponta Potato Solanum tuberosum. Four treatments were used as follows: cont rol, with water irrigation, spraying and irrigation, spraying. The results showed that the use of bio-fertilizer EMI improved the growth of plants, so the surface foliage, foliage index and plant height were increased significantly comparing with the control. The results also showed that the spraying and irrigation treatment was the best with a tuber average weight of 117.7 g/tube obverse (102.7, 115, 109 g/tuber), and a yield of 5864 kg/d obverse (4151, 5569, 5398 kg/d) for treatment (control, water irrigation, spraying).
The research was carried out during (2008-2009) and (2009-2010) in Fedio farm belonging to the Faculty of Agriculture to study the effect of various systems of tillage on the growth and productivity of Barley. The results showed that the bulk densit y increases with the first tillage system (control), comparing with the other tillage systems, but all of them were less than the control (no- tillage). The number of weeds increased when using the 6-th tillage system. The germination rate was affected by the tillage systems. The 6-th tillage system was the best. The weight of 1000 seeds and productivity increased by the 1-th tillage system (no-tillage) comparing with the other tillage systems. The number of weeds increased, but germination rate and weight of 1000 seeds decreased by using the 6-th tillage system. The yield of barley increased when using the 6-th tillage system. No-tillage system was the most economic compared with the others.
The research was executed within the season 2015 ,in the west of HOMS in the first settlement area. One kind (Alfarancy) of chick pea Cicer arietinum L, was sowed in January on three planted distances (4,8,15) cm, and three application rates of Ur ea fertilizer (N 46%) were applied (0,25,50) kg/ha each level was applied with two equal patches. Most results showed that the difference of the distances with difference rate of Urea fertilizer has a big effect on the most studied qualities. Depending on the research results we founded that:The seeding with 15 cm and applying 50 kg n/h surpassed most the other treatment for seed weight for each plant, Results also indicated that the seedling with (4cm with 25 kg/h) surpassed most the other treatment for (high plant, high first pod). For characteristics (biological yield, straw yield) that the seedling with (8cm with 25 kg/h) surpassed most the other treatment. There was no effect to applying fertilizer on seed yield.
The experiment carried out in the agricultural Center (Boqa) of Tishreen University, in the province of Lattakia, during the agricultural season (2014), in order to study the effect of different types (cattle, sheep, poultry) and rates (0, 15.30 to n/ha) of the compost on durum wheat (Doma1). It farmed on (11.23.2014), according to complete system of randomized sectors (27 bis). The compost was added within the lines of Agriculture (10/06/2014). The results showed a response to the average of all the studied traits (plant density (plant/m2), plant height (cm), the length of awn (cm), grains/spike weight (g), the weight of 1000 grains (g)) positively organic fertilizing. While no significant differences were recorded in the averages of the traits studied (plant density (plant/m2), plant height (cm), the length of awn (cm), grains/spike weight (g), 1000 grains weight (g)) under the manure type. In the case of overlap between the type and the rate of organic manure, it has recorded a significant and high differences between the treatments. The treatment (30 ton/ha-1 poultry) was the most influential of all the studied traits. It gave the following results: plant density (331.70 plants/m2), plant height (95.85cm), the length of awn (16.24 cm), grains/spike weight (1.66 g), 1000 grains weight (49.57 g).
Effect of organic and bio fertilizers (Azotobacter and phosphate solubilizing bacteria) on production of potatoes and some soil properties was studied in Tartous. The experiment consisted of 4 treatments (control soil, soil+manure, soil+ bioferti lizer and soil+manure+biofertilizer) each replicated four time, for 2004 and 2005 seasons. Total N, available P, available K, and organic matter in soil were determined. Significant increases were observed in most of the inoculated and organic fertilized treatments compared with the control. However, the treatment (soil+manure+biofertilizer) was the best and showed significant increases in potato yield compared with other treatments especially in the next season. However, the second season was better in yield increase in all treatments than the first seacon.
