أجريت هذه الدراسة في محطة بحوث قرحتا لتحسين الماعز الشامي التابعة لمديرية بحوث الإنتاج
الحيواني في وزارة الزراعة و الإصلاح الزراعي. استخدم خمسون جديًا من ذكور الماعز الشامي بعمر ٣
أشهر لقياس نمو أبعاد خصاها و علاقتها مع تطور وزن الجسم و تأثير بعض العوامل فيها، و ذلك ابتداء
من فطامها في عمر ٣ أشهر و حتى عمر ٢١ شهرًا. أخضعت جميع الجدايا إلى ظروف الرعاية و الإيواء
السائدة في محطة قرحتا.
This Study was carried-out in Karahta station for improvement of Shami
goats, Directorate of Animal Production Research, Ministry of Agriculture and
Agrarian Reform. Fifty growing Shami male goats aged ٣ months, were used to
measure the growth rate of testicular parameters, their relation to the
development of body weight and the effect of several factors on their
development from weaning at ٣ months to ٢١ months of age. All kids housed
and managed under the same conditions.
