Ad-hoc networks has opened a new dimension in wireless networks. It allows wireless communication in the absence of central support of the contract. In these networks, there are no fixed infrastructure because the mobile nodes are continuously making continuous and dynamic change in the topology. Routing protocols of mobile ad-hoc networks differ from the existing internet protocols which are designed for the fixed structure based wireless networks. MANET protocols have to face high challenges due to dynamically changing of topologies, low transmission power and asymmetric links. Due to link instability, node mobility and frequently changing topologies routing becomes one of the core issues in MANETs. Currently existent routing protocols provide routing solutions up to a certain level and most of them are designed and implemented in small areas. Many researchers are still working on the developments of MANET routing protocols. With the increase in the types of routing protocols used in mobile network it has become necessary to study the effectiveness of each type of protocols In this papper we compared between the most famous species (proactive, Reactive, hybrid) and choose a protocol to be representative of all species previously mentioned and the network performance assessment each type in terms of Throughput, dynamic routing routing, load, delay and determine which of these protocols appropriate for each case.

Artificial intelligence review:
Research summary
Critical review

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a form of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, but the nodes of this network are vehicles with special equipment to enable them to communicate with each other. These networks need to implement protocols to ensure that messag es are reached to their destinations and achieve the desired goal of the application. In this paper, we present an analysis of the performance of a number of major routing protocols used in these networks which protocols AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector), DSR (Dynamic Source Routing), and OLSR (Optimized link state routing). This analysis is based on various parameters such as packet delivery ratio and end-to-end delay, in order to find the best protocol can be used in the network with low density. To achieve this purpose, we used a simulator OPNET_17.5. Depending on the simulation results we have obtained and the analysis and comparison of these protocols at different low density contract .We found that the protocol AODV is the best among the studied protocols under the conditions set out in this study.
Routing protocols play an essential role in meeting the quality of service requirements in the network, but achieving these requirements may require frequent send and receive operations to build and maintain routing tables, which consume sensors r esource If we take into consideration the limitations of wireless sensor networks in terms of the amount of available energy and storage capacity. In this research a performance comparison of the on-demand Distance Vector Routing protocol AODV and Hierarchical Routing protocolHR was carried out in terms of the packet delivery and loose rate, delay and jitter, and the amount of expended energy in the Wireless sensor network operates according to IEEE802.15.4 standard in cases where some of sensors get out of work for limited periods of time. The results showed that the hierarchical routing protocols perform better in terms of delay time and transfer rate and the amount of consumed energy than on-demand Distance Vector Routing protocol routing protocol, but suffer larger packet loss due to routing path corruption as a result of sensors crashes.
Today, MANET networks have attracted the attention of many researchers in the field of communications and networks because of the ease of establishing such networks and their wide spread in the various scientific and applied fields. The researchers have proposed many routing protocols in these networks. This is because the goal of the development process is to make these networks more secure and stable because they are highly vulnerable to penetration by any other node located in the perimeter of the network because the security factors are weak. These protocols are categorized according to its strategy to three types are the proactive class, which relies on the transmission of control messages over the network to update the routes between any two nodes, and the reactive class, which depends on discovering the route when needed, without broadcasting of control messages across network , And the hybrid type, which combines the two classes, that divides the network into clusters where the nodes interconnections within the cluster depends on the interactive method, while the transmission between two nodes that belong to different clusters is depend on proactive method. In this research, the MANET network was simulated by subjecting the packet generation process to an exponential probability distribution with the change of the value of the (α) parameter in order to obtain the best performance when the number of nodes changed taking into account the parameters of Throughput, load and delay.
Multi hop wireless networks face many challenges basically the limitation of bandwidth, loss of packets because of many problems in wireless medium also loss of paths because of the random and unpredictable movement of wireless nodes, which reduce the performance of these networks. Recently, Network coding has been used as promising technology that achieves the reliable transfer of data in wireless networks with high throughput. Considering the efficiency of this technology and with benefiting from both the same cost paths and the broadcasting property of wireless medium, a multi transmission mechanism for random linear network coding has been proposed in multi hop wireless networks, which depends on multicasting of coded packets on the same cost paths.
Wireless networks suffer from frequent loss of packets for many reasons such as interference, collision and fading. This makes wireless medium unreliable medium for data transfer. The main methods for ensuring the reliability in this medium are usi ng transmission control protocol (TCP) and the automatic repeat request (ARQ). Recently, network coding has been found as new technology that changes the traditional forwarding method (Store- and- Forward) in the networks to more effective and intelligent method (Code- and- Forward), which contributes to the increase of both capacity and throughput of these networks. In this research, random linear network coding is used as promising technology that aims to achieve the reliable transfer of data in losing wireless networks, and studying the enhancement that this technology presents to the performance of these networks in unicast and multicast transmission. For evaluating the efficiency of this technology and comparing its performance with the performance of reliable transfer protocols, we use the networks simulator (NS3). Simulation results showed that random linear network coding achieve the reliable transfer of data with bigger throughput and less delay and number of transmission compared with the protocols (TCP, ARQ).
