Reactive power compensation in distribution networks is one of the most important economic and environmental issues in power system studies. In this paper the following points are investigated: · The characteristics of the most developed equipment used for reactive power compensation. · Equations used in ETAP program calculation · OCP is part of ETAP program which gives us the possibility to determine optimal reactive power sizing and placement in distribution networks in order to achieve optimal Power loss and distribution power system enhancement. · ETAP program is applied on a part of Damascus suburb electrical network which was simulated by its real parameters and the positive economical and technical results have been clarified.
This research presents software programs that have been designed in order to evaluate the reliability in electrical distribution networks, by calculating the reliability indices for 20 kV distribution feeders. It is the first study in this field for the distribution network in Syria. First of all, the mathematical models of reliability have been presented.
The use of DC and especially VSC-HVDC systems are considered as urgent and important in electrical networks to improve their efficiency because they have great benefits not only in connecting different frequency networks and connecting the renewa ble energy to the network, but also control power flow in a way that reduce the losses and achieve the optimal flow electrical networks especially in networks that contain more than one energy supplier and thus can achieve economic benefits as well as the scheduling of importing energy from another that may improve network stability. Types of HVDC system and a comparison between them are achieved in this research after that simulation IEEE with VSCHVDC, and integrated computer program was proposed this program can create and store three-dimension matrix so the working area can be scanned so minimum loss working point can be detected.
This paper presents a new type of encryption, using a matrix asymmetric and symmetric matrix inverse matrix clear text, which is an internal encryption. As well as asymmetric encryption, where the ciphertext is inversely symmetric matrix. Decryp tion matrix related to any asymmetric encryption keys depends on public and private, and is applied to the coded messages used in the current system ASCII our computers.
