وصف أنزيم الليبوكسيجينيز المستخلص من الفول السوداني بعد تنقيتـه فـي الدراسـة الـسابقة،
و أشارت النتائج إلى أن الوزن الجزيئي للأنزيم هو 97 كيلو دالتن مقدراً بطريقة الترشيح الهلامي، و بلغت
نقطة التعادل الكهربائي (PI) للأنزيم 2.6 ،كما أظهرت الدراسة أن الأنزيم من البروتينات الـسكرية و أن
نسبة الجزء الكربوهيدراتي تشكل 13 % عند تقديرها بطريقة الفينول – حمض الكبريتيك.
The enzyme was characterized by the following: Its molecular weight was 97
KD as estimated by gel filtration, iso electric point was at 6.2. The result
showed that it was a glycoprotein with a carbohydrate content of 13 % as
determined by phenol – sulfuric acid method.
