This research was prepared in order to study the effect on the 66 kV power network in Lattakia province as a result of replace some of the traditional transmission lines in this network of the type Compact Lines , from only technically, any of the terms of the impact on the load flow in transmission lines, in a stable working system (natural), due to the impossibility of conducting this study on the ground a program was created allows the user to simulate various types of electrical networks radial and simple or complex loop , and the analysis of the technical performance of different cases of transmission lines (traditional and compact) and compare the results for both cases in normal working system.

This study aimed to evaluate the budget applied in the government hospitals in Latakia, and research into the possibility of the application of (Activity-Based Budgeting). To achieve the objectives of the study are designed questionnaire include qu estions related to various aspects of the existing budget, and the availability of administrative, financial, technical and environmental potential. Where the questionnaire was distributed on the financial and administrative department in the Directorate of Health staff in addition to the six staff of government hospitals in the province. The study concluded that the most important set of results, that the budget applied in hospitals do not meet the requirements, and that there are many obstacles and problems facing the possibility of applying the (Activity-Based Budgeting) in hospitals under study. Based on the findings the researcher recommended the need for appropriate infrastructure to create for the application of (Activity-Based Budgeting) to activate the use of modern technology, and provide sufficient resources as well as create the necessary political, economic and legal conditions for the application of (Activity-Based Budgeting) to take advantage of their advantages in cost management and exploitation of resources.
Fish farming using earthen ponds is considered one of the most commonly-used ways in Syria. It is one of the important resources of fish production in the country .In the last years ,the importance of producing fish to meet the needs of Syrian citi zensfor animal protein has increased ,due to the shortage of sources and the increasing prices of animal products on one hand , and the greatly growing population on the other. The research aims to achieve the following objectives: 1 -Calculating the Production costs for all production processes contained in stages farming fish in ponds and carry out a study and analysis of these costs account. 2- The economic evaluation t of farming fish using earthen ponds in Latakia through the expense of some economic analysis indicators. Through research we came to the following results: 1-The net profit achieved was 102847,3 SYP/1000m2 2- The total production costs was147952,7SYP/1000m2 3-The farm Production efficiency reached 1,97and the economic efficiency 1.69 4-The profitability index as related to production costs amounted to 81.83 % and as related to the invested capital amounted to 20.65%.
In this study, samples of cotton fabric were dyed using direct dye by the traditional method as well as using microwave energy at different energy levels. It was noted that the use of microwave energy increase the dye exhaustion at the used energy levels compared to the traditional method, as well as improving the fastness to washing and wet rubbing.
The aim of this research is to simplify the methodof getting Evapotranspiration Potentielle (ETP) which forms the limit of water needs for crops . This was using done some experimental Equation like Turc formula and Thornthwaite formula (Thornthwa ite, 1948) compared with the modified Blaney_ Criddle formula ( BlaneyCriddle , 1950) which is considered the basic formula in this research . Also , this research aims to find a formula enables us to use (Pans evaporation) method (class A) as a relative evidence to the need of watering in Lattakia by comparing it with the results of Evapotranspiration Potentielle which are calculated by the modified Blaney _Criddle method depending on climate data from Lattakia for fifteen years (2001 – 2015) . The results of studying the correlation coefficient and how the experimental points spread around the linear regression curve show that Turc gave the best approximaltion result to the developed Blaney – Criddle formula with correlation coefficient (R=0.907). After Turc formula there is Thornthwaite formula with correlation coefficient (R=0.846) . On the other hand Pan class A method gave approximal results to the developed Blaney– Criddle formula with correlation coefficient (R=0.925) and with good distribution of the experimental points around the linear regressions straight. So, in this study experimental conditions it could beased on Turc formula and Pan class A method as the best approximation to the developed Blaney- Criddle formula to define the water requirement of the agriculture crops in Lattakia.
This paper presents the characterization of sea wave behavior in some areas of Lattakia shore, through monitoring for more than one site different from each other by terrain, water depth and bottom type (sand, rocks). It also presents results of m easurements of wave height values and their period at breakwater area of Lattakia port, and also shows results of power calculations trans- mitted with waves and speed of those waves, and brings a comparison of energy values calculated using different experimental equations is being used globally, and shows that wave's speed and period are independent from each other. Also shows that it is possible to apply wave power techniques in Syria ,relying on principle of high strength and low height , best way to achieve this is through hydraulic circuits ,and installation of a central system and several subsystems connected to it ,this provides a continuous flow of power.
