The existence of the Arabs in Africa extends deeply in history. In fact, there are many theorems to trace when Arabs arrived at Africa. These theorems vary depending on the way we want to define who Arabs are. In addition, the humanitarians' dimensio ns in international relations are in themselves rather vague because such interpretation is not agreed upon in both western and international law especially in relation to Arab and African situations. There is no doubt that international relations, especially neighbourhood relations, are not as they are supposed to be. In fact, these relations are completely oriented by maintaining interest, ignoring morals, which results in replacing intimacy with resentment. It is true that Westerns succeeded in contaminating Arab-African relations to extent of hostility. The can be attributed to the cooperation between Arabs and Africans is completely controlled by the political moods rather than on true mutual interest. This fluctuating mood has led to the absence of common vision to face challenges. Therefore the necessity demands taking practical action not merely wishes and words to create a new regional cooperation for the human good. This cooperation should result in developing bordering cities economically, culturally, and at humanitarian level. There is also a need to boost up financial aids to be as or exceed the western financial aids, which make people less dependent on Western and rebuild historical relations and revive ties of kinship between regional countries. All this in the context of a humanitarian status-strong neighbor and good neighborliness. ...
This study tries to examine human group in general and in developing countries in particular. This is not only to trace its progress but also to find an answer to the question that became very crucial nowadays which is: On which base could a group of individuals be gathered or connected? What would the best form of human union? This question became significant considering the clashes troubles and wars the whole world have witnessed and still witness.In order to answer the question we have to pass on and define a number of conceptions that were very problematic in the history of modern Arab thinking and in the contemporary one as well. Such as: Nation, State, nation-state, connectedness, civil society and other conceptions that were ultimately unobvious and misused. this study tries to develop a new concept which is related to the historical progress theory. It criticizes the claim of the end of the history but it shows the other side of historical progress that goes on the opposite direction of the natural progress. This new movement of the history is a movement towards the past instead of moving towards future. This is the dangerous dimension of this orientation because it expresses the great Reaction in the social and political life. This problems is what this study tries to focus on.
This study aims to an alyzesome of the Arabic readings of the philosophical texts of Ibn Rushd and to demonstrate their influence on the ones that western researchers have followed. In spite of the ideological dimensions of oriental studies, they o pened new horizons and introduced approaches that affected the way we deal with Rushditexts. Moreover. they have presented intellectual challenges that must be dealt with cognitively, not only with a prejudiced selective manner. The researcher tries to point out to the reasons which made the Arabic readings for Cordoba differ from one researcher, sometimes to the extent of complete opposition.
Modern Arabic architecture has been facing important challenges imposed in many fields by changes occurring internationally and in the West, especially in terms of architecture. The effect of these changes on the visual appearance of the city has bee n clearly evident, with everything this entails in terms of formation and architectural samples. This was due to a group of internal and external effects which contributed to accelerating the spread of intellectual theoretical movements and new architectural philosophies which differed in how they responded to local data. This really problematic trend in modern Arabic architecture became apparent and manifested itself by achieving balance and integration between originality and tradition on the one hand, and modernism and contemporariness on the other. The number of frames available to the Arabic architect became more numerous, to include rejection, advocacy and reformation, and this was reflected in the architectural formations which became multiple and were characterized by pluralism. This led to the loss of their local identity and to a contradiction between their visual and formative modes. A number of Arab architects became aware of this problem at the end of the 20th century, so they analyzed its causes and its transformative mechanism. Attempts were started to find logical and rational solutions to guarantee harmony between technical and scientific development on the one hand, and a sense of belonging to the place on the other.
