تعد منطقة الذقن مصدراً ملائما للطعوم العظمية الذاتية التي تستعمل في إعادة
بناء الحافة السنخية قبل وضع الزرعات السنية. و على الرغم من الاستعمال الشائع للطعوم الذقنية فإنه من الممكن أن تسبب اضطراباً في حساسية كل من الشفة السفلى، و منطقة الذقن، و اللثة، و الأسنان الأمامية السفلية.
الهدف من البحث: تقييم وضع الاضطرابات الحسية في الشفة السفلى، و منطقة الذقن، و اللثة، و الأسنان الأمامية السفلية بعد أخذ الطعوم من منطقة الذقن من أجل إعادة بناء الحافة السنخية الخلفية من الفك السفلي .
Chin area is considered as a suitable donor site for autogenous
bone grafts for alveolar ridge reconstruction before dental implantation.
Despite the common use of chin bone grafts, some neurosensory deficiency
of the of the lower lip, chin area , gingiva and lower anterior teeth may
occur.
