Recently, the methods and theories of the structural and technicalevaluation for cracked buildings have been developed because of different reasons (Natural disasters, wars, the oldness… etc.) That was due to urgent need for right evaluation process, understand the structural and function status of the building and make the right decision. The research includes the clarification of the importance of building structural evaluation in addition to the basis and criteria of cracked buildings classification regarding their structural and technical status. The structural and technical evaluation for concrete building is considered as nonrepetitive unique process, which has its particularity due to its link with large group of indicators ( concrete natural and structure- structural system - the natural and intensity of failures and cracks …etc.) Therefore, the evaluation process based on groups of measurements, tests and views. The personal experience of the engineer has an important role at evaluation process. The research includes the preparation of scientific methodology to evolution process and designing structural and technical evaluation software to evaluate cracked buildings and limit the personal and mood role of the engineer during evaluation process. In addition to that, the software will include applications from the real situations.

The aim of this work is to demonstrate the role that slabs plays in RC high-rise buildings. This study shows the mistakes may be done by modeling slabs as rigid diaphragms. Then after, the rehabilitation ability of these systems can be more accurate.
This study has provided an accurate description of the traditional nonlinear static analysis and modal pushover analysis and then these two analyzes applied for a set of concrete buildings.
Due to the sensitivity of concrete frames to the lateral displacement especially in the case of tall buildings, it is useful to improve the behavior to resistance the lateral displacement through bracing. Bracing can be used in cases of rehabilitatio n and increasing the efficiency of existing concrete buildings. Varied shapes of bracing for concrete frames in order to achieve opening for windows and doors in the wall of frames. The research aims to give an idea for designer on the effect of the shape of bracing on the cross section forces generated in the elements of R/C tall buildings frame elements. The Study was conducted on R/C frame which consist from five spans, and fifteen storeys. It has compared different shapes of metal bracing, which are X, V, K and O. Calculation were based on Program CSI-SAP 2000. Conducted compared for the storylateral displacement of concrete frame in relation with the bracing shape. It shows that the bracing have large effect to reduce the storey lateral displacement, in the case of the bracing with X and V shape decreased the value of displacement in the last story in ratio 52.38%, in the case of bracing with K and O shape decreased in ratio 23.07%. Conducted detailed comparison for the value of cross section i.e. Moments, shear and axial forces in beams and columns of first and second floor frame in relationship of bracing shape. It concludes thatX and V bracing have large effect on the concrete tall buildings frame, as well as in the cases of improving the efficiency of existing R/C frame buildings.
Pushover method or method of nonlinear static analysis is considered the latest and best way to study and evaluate the buildings under effect of seismic load. The method is based on the study of deformation occurring in the building, formation of pl astic hinge in elements, in addition to the redistribution of internal forces in building elements under the effect of earthquake loads. Pushover method was applied to evaluate the Model of residential buildings in Latakia suburb Tabiyat, who has designed and implemented before the issuance of the code which earthquake load considered. First, the dynamic characteristics of the building (Period, and Mode shape) were identified in the cases of modeling 2D (plane) and 3D (spatial). Second, an analysis of the building under earthquake load by Pushover method depending on ETABS Program was conducted. We have got seven side cases push of the building, and have identified the location of plastic hinge in the building elements, and draw a curved capacity for the building, which represents the relationship between base shear force and lateral deflection at the top of the building. It was concluded that the building is a good resistance to the effect of earthquake. It was concluded with backing the adoption of Pushover method to evaluate existing buildings, and study the dynamic behavior, and the extent of resistance to the effect of earthquake.
This research studies the behavior of the soft story in RC structures using static analysis and dynamic analysis, where studying models of RC structures containing soft story where this story results from increased hieght of story than the rest st orys, was conducted static analysis using Nonliner pushover analysis and dynamic analysis using Nonliner time history analysis
