A morphological , anatomical and chemical study was carried out on Salvia viridis L. (Lamiaceae) . The results showed presence of two types of trichomes : - Glandular hairs with four or eight celled globular heads or with oval heads . - Eglandular hairs which are unicellular or multicellular , in addition to presence of candle shaped eglandular hairs . The palynological study revealed that the pollen grains were prolate and they had six germination lines , exine appeared reticulate . The extraction of volatile oils have been done by dry evaporation using GC/MS technique , chromatographic analysis of these extracts have showed the presence of complex of carboxylic acids , hydrocarbons , terpenes , esters and aldehydes .

The aim of this study is to determine the essential oil of Ocimum and to find out the chemical constituents of essential oils of Yemeni Ocimum basilicum Lamiaceae.
Two species of the Cucurbitaceae were collected and studied during Fep.2013 and June 2014 in Lattakia. As a result of this study, Ecballium elaterium was recorded on the Syrian coast ,while the other was´t. In this research where they were given an accurate scientific description The research also included examining the pollens, the result of which was that the pollens were similar in shape of the elliptic, prolate and sometimes globular shape. Trilinear growth holes were proved to exist in both species ,the fact that had made proof the correspondence between them. this Paleonological study is considered to be the first to study such these two species. It involved an anatomical additional study acted upon the above-mentioned. Two species where we examind thin cross section of the root, stem ,leaf neckband and the leaf.
In this work Rosmarinus officinalis L. grown in Syria was studied. The general characteristics of the whole plant, as well as the leaves and the flowers were determined. It was shown that there are two varieties of Rosmarinus one having violet flo wers and the other having white flowers. The two varieties were compared morphologically and they were in accord with what was mentioned in the literature. The two varieties were also compared chemically and it was possible to explain the differences mentioned in the literature by differences in the composition of the volatile oil. The chemical study of the drug shows the quantity as well as the percentage of its constituents. At last the main substitute of the drug used in Syria was shown and compared with the main drug. It was shown that the composition of the volatile oil of the substitute is different from the composition of the volatile oil of Rosmarinus, thus it can not be used for the same purpose.
has many ،The aerial part of Lavandula stoecha L. family Lamiaceae moreover ، asthma and digestive diseases،important effects against cold anxiety and hypertension. These ،it has effects in treatment of dermatitis effects are turning back to the c ontent of its essential oil. This kind of plant is widely spread in Maroq and it used in common medicine.
This study was performed the existence of the species Datura innoxia Mill. in the Syrian flora. Also the morphological study results showed that the plant is a gray greenish herb, its stem is erect. Leaves are simple, alternated, oval, its angle is turbinated to the out. The root is sphenoid. The flower is regular. The fruit is capsule, and the seed is splay, have an excrescence. The palynological study showed that the pollens are ellipticity, triad of germination lines. Whereas, the anatomical study showed that the form of carrier packing take quadric side type.
