All the analysis of craniofacialpatterns is essential since a considerable amountof dental compensation can mask the severity of a malocclusion. Disagreement prevails over the standards that should be used to judge the individual values.In this study, a method is presented—the multiharmony method [MHM], which assists in treatment planning.The approach was applied to a data set of 75 Syrian adults [35 males and 40 females, mean age 23 years] that had not received orthodontic treatment. They were selected frompatients enrolled at Tishreen University Dental colleage, Lattakia, Syria. The subjects had an ideal or near-ideal occlusion [Class I molar relationship, not more than 4 mm overbite and overjet, and no missing teeth] and a well-balanced face.With multiple regression analysis, the expected value that each angle should take in a norm individual when the remaining angles are given is estimated. The residual difference between the measured angle and its expected value then indicates the deviation from a harmonic appearance in the respective angle. The MHM can serves as a supportive tool for the orthodontic expert in the diagnosiss and decision for potential treatment.

This study was carried out aiming to investigate the accuracy of measurements , differences in linear and angular measurements of the craniofacial complex using both the two and three dimensional method of measuring in patients with different kind s of malocclusion ; and also to compare each kind of malocclusion to the others. The sample of the study consisted of 40 patients , divided into three groups – a group for each skeletal malocclusion , Cone Bean Computed Tomography (CBCT) was performed for each patient , then two dimensional radiographs were derived from the CBCT ; after performing the measuring , collecting the results and analyzing them statistically.
The aim of this study was to assess and analysis the morphology of the nose and examine their relationships with the facial growth types according to Jarabak and their differences between the sexes This study is performed with using radiographic c ephalometric for 31 female and 55 male aged between 18-25 years and by using analysis of variance Kruskall-Wallis one-way ANOVA and Mann-Whitney U-tests of statistical test. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between each of the angle Cranial base with the nasal bone (Nasal bone / SN), and level of the nose with cranial base (NSL / NL), and the facial pattern for all the simple. It was noted the existence of a significant statistical relationship between the length of the nasal cartilage (Cart-nose), and the total length of the nose , and the angle between the nasal bone with cranial base and facial pattern .And the results showed at females the presence statistically significant relationship between each of the( Nasal bone / SN), and (NSL / NL), and facial pattern.
The Objective is to study the relation between craniocervical posture and skeletal patterns of malocclusion in the sagittal plane in adults , None of them had a history of previous orthodontic or orthognathic surgery treatment by using lateral cep halometric radiographs. our sample consisted of 71 adults patients; class I (n=21) , class II (n= 30 ) , class III (n=20 ) .All radiographes were taken in natural head position.
This paper describes the results of the shared tasks organized as part of the VarDial Evaluation Campaign 2021. The campaign was part of the eighth workshop on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Similar Languages, Varieties and Dialects (VarDial), co-located with EACL 2021. Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship of the length and width of the jaws in the frontal plane with Facial Growth Type in adults using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography scan (CBCT). Materials and methods: 33 adult patients (22 female, 11 male) with no prior orthodontic treatment were selected with age average 16 - 27 years ( mean age of 20.02 years, females average age was 20.15 years ; males average age was 21.84 years ) of age , were ordinary undergoing CBCT scan for non-orthodontics purpose. Cephalometric measurements determining facial growth type were performed according to Jarabak'sanalysis. Pearson's Correlation Coefficient was calculated to investigate the relationship between the CBCT jaws measurements and facial growth type according to Jarabak's analysis. Results :CBCT measurements of jaws' dimensions in the frontal plane showed no statistical significant differences. Conclusion:There is no relationship between jaws bases' dimensions in the frontal plane and facial growth pattern in adults orthodontic ally non-treated subjects.
