A lubricant (Lithium-Sodium) of Syrian petroleum-based stocks and thickener material depends in its preparation on Skinless chicken fat, was manufactured at different ratios. A study of physical - chemical properties of manufactured grease types was carried out (compared with Syrian standard specification 791/2008) by using standard methods which included: grease state, penetration degree, drop point, free acidity (as oleic acid)% by weight, grease resistence to water, evaporating at 90° C, and corrosion of copper plate. Where the results show that the best type of grease is of 30% ratio.

The recent synthesis of the new polymers has been profoundly affected by the unique characteristics of Dimer Acid. These polymers were made up following the condensation with triethanolamine when was treated in melted phase. We performed identifi cation of the physical characteristics of the polymers such as the molecular weight, in addition to the acid value and hydroxyl value. Infrared spectroscopy have been used in identification of this polymer. Also, the rheological behavior has been assessed thermally and shearing stress by using capillary viscometer. Our results revealed a reduction in the viscosity with increase of the shearing stress as will as with rise in the temperature.
Recently, the importance of high Strength concrete has appeared due to its application in manufacturing most of the concrete structures and members, as well as to its importance in the implementation of civilian facilities like bridge bases, skyscr apers and in implementing the columns and platforms which carry oil installations carried out in the oceans and seas. The research aims to design concrete mixtures with cylindrical resistors ( 55- 65- 75 Mpa) according to the American code AcI-211-4R-93 by using local and appropriate additions as well as explaining the method used in designing. Then, studying the transformation in stress strain curve – deformation (σ- ζ ) undergoing a simple pressure on the previous samples throughout the available devices. Then, it was compared to the charts obtained mathematically .Law behaviour of stress strain and deformation curve was rated, in addition to modulus of elasticity taken from the chart. Couple of results and recommendations related to the issue were concluded, those which were applied in praxis.
The research aims to study is to study the effect of the pH factor of Pterocladia capillacea on agar yield and some of its physical properties using different degrees of pH (4- 5.5 - 5.5 - 6.5 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 8). The maximum yield of agar was 37.45% at pH = 5 and 562g / cm2 and viscosity 10.7cP and 15.45% at pH = 8 with the highest strength of 768 g /cm2 and viscosity of cP 156. The degree of melting and melting of agar Between (22- 33.5 οC) and (75- 86 οC), respectively.
The aim of this research is to present the two new classes of complex functions . The first class is denoted , and the second one is denoted. The definition of both of them depends on the famous Lebesgue class ,and orlicz class .The relationship bet ween the two new classes the two classes is studied. This study gives some properties . Finally, this study is used for approximation of the class on group of wide curves.
This study was carried out at the laboratory of Food Science Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Damascus University in order to evaluate physical, chemical and microbial properties of Akkawi cheese in Syria. Thirty samples of Akkawi Cheese collec ted randomly from different Syrian cities and urban markets during 2011 were analyzed. Chemical and microbiological analyses were applied to determine their suitability to the Syrian standards. Results showed that the quality of cheese samples did not fulfill the set minimum Syrian quality standards and the proportion of the violation of the Syrian specification for total dry matter in cheese samples studied was nearly 10%, and 100% for sodium chloride. The study also demonstrated differences in chemical properties, with an average of acidity, moisture content 0.34 %, 53.9 % respectively. The fat content had a wide range for all cheese samples. On the other hand, the proportion of health violation for this type of cheese from the Syrian standard was 73.3 % for Coliform bacteria and 56.6 % for the E. coli. but they were acceptable for the existence and account of Staphylococcus aureus , Salmonella and Listeria.
