A new carbon paste electrode (CPE) for Co2+ ion modified with complex of Cobalt(II) with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) as electroactive 84aterial was prepared. The best performances were obtained by carbon paste electrode with the composition Graphit powder (47%), DOPH as plasticizer (47%) and Co-PAN as electroactive material (6%)

A sensitive, simple, selective spectrophotometric method has been developed for determination Cobalt (II) with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2 naphthol (PAN). This method ralies on the formation of stable red colored complex at pH=4.1 which has an absorption maximum at 580nm.
The glassy carbon electrode has been used as working electrode, to study the electrochemical behavior of Se(IV), by using anodic stripping voltammetric method (ASV) in acidic media HCl. We found that The reason for the absence of analytical signal s expressed on flow any electrodic process due to reduction mechanism of Se(IV) on glassy carbon electrode from Se4+to Se2- and formation H2Se.
Selenium is an essential nutritional mineral, and selenium deficiency diseases are known in medical literature. Studies have shown that selenium intake in high doses is toxic in humans. Selenium is widely distributed in nature and due to the importan ce of selenium and its compounds in industrial applications; several analytical techniques have been reported to estimate selenium. In this study the optimal conditions for the formation of selenium complex with NEDA reagent will be studied and used for the control of selenium microcapsules, a method that is characterized by being rapid, sensitive and selective. The optical spectrophotometric method was used in the visible field at 540 nm wavelength to determine the complex between the selenium ion and the NEDA reagent under optimal conditions for complex formation namely temperature 50℃, time min t = 240, added reagent volume V=4ml, and reagent concentration 1%. This method showed good accuracy and correctness, as the method's validity was achieved through the relative percentage yield (R = 99.68%), while the accuracy of the method was achieved through the low value of the standard deviation (SD≤) (1.172) and thus the percentage relative standard deviation (RSD≤) (1.725). Selenium microcapsules were prepared, with an entrapment efficiency of 36% at a concentration of 3% for alginate and 1% while the entrapment efficiency rose to 51.2% at a concentration of 2% for calcium chloride.
The study addresses the synthesis of two organic phosphoric compounds that have the P-NH-c bridge, They have the following chemical formula (PhO)2P(O)-NH-C(CH3)=CHCN ( abbreviated as PCNO) and The compound (abbreviated as PCNS) The compound were s ynthesized in the center of acetonitrile and having a strong base of sodium hydride NaH by Diphenyl chloro phosphate (PhO)2POCl compounds and Diphenyl chloro thio phosphate (PhO)2PSCl compound Respectively . Some of the physical and chemical properties of the synthetic composites, such as the melting point, dissolution , and the withdrawal of some important spectra such as the IR spectra and the NMR spectra were used in the extraction of the copper(II) Ions from the of medium sulphates, Lesson of Partition Coefficient Copper Dcu between aqueous medium of organic medium containing different concentrations of organic phosphorus compounds prepared previously. Partition Coefficient copper(II) ion distribution was studied in terms of the change in the value of PH (PH = 4 --- 6) at the constant concentration of the extract used previously .The Spectrophotometer for calculating copper concentrations was used Depending on absorption , and the two previous components were compared .
The possibility of formating a colored complex between Fe2+ ions and 4-Hydroxy-3- [[(2-hydroxy phenyl) methylene] amino] benzene Sulphonic Acid (HVMAB) was studied spectrophotometric method for determination of iron in aqueous solutions. The reagen t reacts in aqueous medium at pH=5 to give an orange complex with maximum absorbance λmax=415nm.
