Pulpectomy was performed on 100 primary teeth and the radiograph
was exposed immediately post treatment to observe weather the root
canal filling was: flush-undefiled or overfilled.
Teeth were examined periodically, clinically and radio graphically to
assess success of the treatment.
Curing shrinkage with its resulting stresses inside the restoration, and
microleakage with its resulting marginal discoloration are the most important problems that face
composite restorations. The new studies try to use a lot of ways to reduce it.
One of these ways is using
soft-start light curing.
Investigate the clinicale influence of using soft start light curing method on marginal discoloration of
composite restoration of primary molars.
This study was performed in order to determine the temperature
rise under human dentin discs of different thicknesses of primary teeth
during the light curing process with conventional halogen lamp and
LED.
