Because of large industrial development which the world has seen in
all fields. scientists and researchers aim to produce new materials
that having special engineering properties with low economic cost as
fit multiple industrial application and us
es. So in This present
article We try to prepare composite materials based on aluminum
alloy (6663) and reinforcement it by different particles having size
of micron of Alumina and silicon carbide particles are added in
specific weight parentage by stir casting
technique to obtain Aluminum Which having the improving
mechanical properties
In this paper samples of poly vinyl chloride PVC ,pure, irradiated
with Gama rays, were prepared by casting method in room
temperature and light, and under atmosphere pressure.
It was observed from this research that irradiation made real effect
on some of the studied optical properties, the irradiation increased
the transmittance while the electronic transitions kind remained
indirect before and after the irradiation.
Aluminum Alloy 6063 is used widely in extrusion industry for
building and automobile applications. Aluminum billet is
manufactured usually by vertical continuous casting technique and direct water cooling. 5 different casting temperatures 660, 680,
700, 720, 740Cº, besides 5 different casting speeds 100, 112, 125, 138, 150 mm/min to control cool water feeding are chosen. It has noticed that the increase of casting temperature and decreasing of casting speed has a good effect on improving billet quality which contribute later on improving the hardness and mechanical properties of extruded aluminum profiles.
Recent development in dental materials had led to the fabrication of metal free fixed
prosthodontics to improve the mechanical and aesthetic properties to restore posterior teeth
depending on many techniques, therefore came the propose of this stud
y to compare the
marginal fit of Zirconia bridges made by CAD/CAM and Slip-Cast techniques.
30 Bridges were fabricated to restore missing first lower molar, they were divided
into two groups (15 CAD\CAM, 15 Slip-Cast). The marginal fit was evaluated by
measuring the thickness of light body silicone that made using Replica technique.
Depending on T-test, the mean marginal discrepancy for CAD/CAM groups was
13.92μ and 11.30μ for Slip-Cast techniques.
Therefore, it was concluded that the marginal fit of Slip-Cast techniques was
significantly better than CAD/CAM techniques.
The copper wire drawing is one of cold forming operations which
basicly the copper is used as pure material for various diameters &
sections in electrical conductors industry.
By cooperation with S.M.C company for cables industry in
Damascus – Sy
ria, a research has been done during 2 years on rod
breakdown heavy drawing machine -HENRICH - GERMANY- 2
lines- with max productivity 25 ton/24hr.
50 samples of copper wire breaks and deformations have been
studied & analyzed, thus the defects are classified in main statistics
diagrams in gold of give main instructions that contribute in raising
the quality level of local copper wire manufacturing & giving a
whole view about this industry.
