خلفية البحث و هدفه: إنها مسؤولية الباحث حماية مصالح المشاركين في البحث و سلامتهم الجسمية و النفسية و العقلية.
هدفت هذه الورقة إلى: 1- تقديم بعض المعلومات عن المبادئ الأساسية في أخلاقيات البحث العلمي 2- اقتراح قواعد توجيهية لحماية الأشخاص المشاركين في البحوث العلمية في كليات طب الأسنان في سورية.
الاستنتاج: مازالت مبادئ أخلاقيات البحث العلمي في طب الأسنان و الموافقة بمعرفة غير واضحة في سورية، و هناك حاجة إلى لجان أخلاقيات البحث العلمي و قواعد ناظمة لأخلاقيات البحث العلمي في كليات طب الأسنان في سورية.
The researcher's responsibility is to protect the interests and the physical, psychological
andmentalintegrity of the research participants. The aim of this article is: 1- To give some information
about the basic principles of research ethics. 2- To prepare guidelines for human subject research
protection at the colleges of dental medicine in Syria. Conclusions: principles of ethics in dental research
and informed consent are still not clear in Syria; there is a need to ethical research committees and ethical
research guidelines in dental colleges in Syria.
