We discuss results of the $k_t$ - factorization approach for heavy quark-heavy antiquark correlations in proton-proton and proton-antiproton collisions for RHIC, Tevatron and LHC. We consider correlations in the azimuthal angle as well as in the two-dimensional space of transverse momentum of heavy quark and heavy antiquark. We compare results obtained with the help of different unintegrated parton distributions (UPDF) from the literature.
We present results for the quenching, elliptic flow and azimuthal correlations of heavy flavour particles in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions obtained through the POWLANG transport setup, developed in the past to study the propagation of heavy
We perform an analytic calculation of the one-loop amplitude for the W-boson mediated process 0 to d u-bar Q Q-bar l-bar l, retaining the mass for the quark Q. The momentum of each of the massive quarks is expressed as the sum of two massless momenta
Quarkonium production in high-energy proton (deuteron)-nucleus collisions is investigated in the color glass condensate framework. We employ the color evaporation model assuming that the quark pair produced from dense small-x gluons in the nuclear ta
In this paper we estimate the double parton scattering (DPS) contribution for the heavy quark production in $pA$ collisions at the LHC. The cross sections for the charm and bottom production are estimated using the dipole approach and taking into acc
Whether quark- and gluon-initiated jets are modified differently by the quark-gluon plasma produced in heavy-ion collisions is a long-standing question that has thus far eluded a definitive experimental answer. A crucial complication for quark-gluon
