Translation is one of the oldest types of human activity, as it is a phenomenon inherent in human history from the oldest ages, as it appeared with the emergence of the need for a means of understanding between the peoples of the world due to the difference in the management of communication between them. Translation, like other fields of knowledge, was subject to the same rule of tradition mentioned earlier, so that when you look at the books of some Arab thinkers, you will find that the nature of their writings is of a foreign nature. Among the aims to be achieved in this research are: Introducing the theory of text types and their relationship to translation. Disclosure of the characteristics of this theory in translation. Clarify the importance of text types theory and its role in acquiring translation skills. Linguistic analysis of texts as a first station, followed by other consistent and harmonious stations that collectively work to achieve the communicative relationship of the various types of texts. Identifying the types of texts and then the types of translation approaches that work to reduce the gap between the source text and the access text.

Recent successes in deep generative modeling have led to significant advances in natural language generation (NLG). Incorporating entities into neural generation models has demonstrated great improvements by assisting to infer the summary topic and t o generate coherent content. To enhance the role of entity in NLG, in this paper, we aim to model the entity type in the decoding phase to generate contextual words accurately. We develop a novel NLG model to produce a target sequence based on a given list of entities. Our model has a multi-step decoder that injects the entity types into the process of entity mention generation. Experiments on two public news datasets demonstrate type injection performs better than existing type embedding concatenation baselines.
In this paper, we aim to address the challenges surrounding the translation of ancient Chinese text: (1) The linguistic gap due to the difference in eras results in translations that are poor in quality, and (2) most translations are missing the cont extual information that is often very crucial to understanding the text. To this end, we improve upon past translation techniques by proposing the following: We reframe the task as a multi-label prediction task where the model predicts both the translation and its particular era. We observe that this helps to bridge the linguistic gap as chronological context is also used as auxiliary information. We validate our framework on a parallel corpus annotated with chronology information and show experimentally its efficacy in producing quality translation outputs. We release both the code and the data for future research.
This work aims to find approximate relationships to calculate the static durability of ball valve disc valves, based on material resistance and flexibility theory. Three groups were obtained, and these groups represent three mathematical charts, each of which corresponds to specific relationships obtained to calculate the stresses generated in the dish.
Existing approaches for machine translation (MT) mostly translate given text in the source language into the target language and without explicitly referring to information indispensable for producing proper translation. This includes not only inform ation in other textual elements and modalities than texts in the same document and but also extra-document and non-linguistic information and such as norms and skopos. To design better translation production work-flows and we need to distinguish translation issues that could be resolved by the existing text-to-text approaches and those beyond them. To this end and we conducted an analytic assessment of MT outputs and taking an English-to-Japanese news translation task as a case study. First and examples of translation issues and their revisions were collected by a two-stage post-editing (PE) method: performing minimal PE to obtain translation attainable based on the given textual information and further performing full PE to obtain truly acceptable translation referring to any information if necessary. Then and the collected revision examples were manually analyzed. We revealed dominant issues and information indispensable for resolving them and such as fine-grained style specifications and terminology and domain-specific knowledge and and reference documents and delineating a clear distinction between translation and what text-to-text MT can ultimately attain.
