The study of textural characteristics of marine sediments is very important to understand the evolution and distribution of coastal deposits, the hydrodynamic conditions of the depositional environments, and seasonal changes along the coasts, by collecting samples during seasonal periods. Due to the lake of sach studies in our coast, aset of 14 samples has been collected from superficial sediments of Ras Ben Hane beache during the beriod that range between 10/2015 and 6/2016. the grain size parameters (Mean, Standarddiviation, Skewness, and Kurtosis) showed that the grains are coarse to very coarse in their size, moderately to poorly sorted, coarse to strongly coarse skewed, and mesokurtic to platykurtic. Based on the CM patterns, the samples fall in rolling fields, while their morphological study showed that most of grains are subrounded.these parameters confirm that the sediments were deposited under high energy conditions, as the coarse and very coarse grains need high energy to more by rolling on the sea bed. while the subrounded shape of the grains indicates that the grains are transported for along distance befor they settels down in their site of deposition.

Natural zeolite which named TS-14 from Tel- Asis area in Syria has beenstudied. The sample was crashed under fixed force, 5kg/cm2 and sieved with differentsizesieves. The product was divided to five samples with different size, andnamedTS-14-1,<0.1 25mm, TS-14-2, 0.125-0.3mm, TS-14-3, 0.3-0.6mm, TS-14-4, 0.6-85mm, TS-14-5, 0.85-1.4mm. The specific surface area was calculated. The maximum specific surface area was 84.6m2/g for the first sample which has minimum size, then the value of surface area decreases to become 54.2m2/g for the second sample, therefore the value of surface area increases for third and fourthsamples to became 60.3m2/g and 66.3m2/g, respectively. The adsorption of the Ni(II) ions was studied using the samples. The capacity of the samples is increasing when the granule size is increasing, and the maximum capacity was 91.7mg/g as Ni(II) ions for last sample. The adsorption process of Ni(II) ions takes place on the heterogeneous centers.
A microscopic study was done on five samples from the current beach sand at Ra’asShimra beach in order to identify their Foraminifera content and the abundance of the species relative to each other. The micropaleontology analysis showed that the majo rity of the 17 specified types live on the bottom in shallow marine waters at moderate to hot temperatures. The abundance of the species was noticed in the benthic species such as: Amphistegina, Textularia, and peneroplis, which indicates the availability of suitable environmental conditions for the prosperity of these species, which is close to the current conditions. The samples of sand studied are characterized by their being disjointed, small to medium in size, varying in color, and rich in organic remains, mainly the remains of molluscs, in addition to oval marine-originated stones that vary in size. The X.R.D analysis showed the presence of two phases: a major calcareous phase, and a secondary quartz phase. The study of the thin rock slides taken from rocks located in the region, which can be considered as the source rocks of sand in the study area, showed that it is a sandy limestone.
This research focuses on determination the concentration of some heavy metal elements (Nickel Ni and Cadmium Cd) in the coastal water sediments of Ras Al-Basit (Latakia ) during the period that range between Autumn 2013 and Summer 2014 using the A tomic Absorption (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer: AAS) at two different (closed and open) geographical regions. The results of the research indicate a correlation monumental between the change in the concentration of studied metallic elements (Ni & Cd), the quality and sediment sampling sites on the one hand, and the sources of pollution on the other. It observed the rule of fine sand with minor amount of clay in the sediments collected from closed area; with high concentrations of both Nickel (755.50mg/Kg), and Cadmium (71.30μg/ Kg), compared with the open area while the majority of the sediments are medium sand with low Nickel and Cadmium concentrations (38.85mg/Kg; 13.31μg/ Kg).
We studied in this research in the predicative deletion and what it relates to in Ebn Hani Alandalusi’s poetry, we studied first topics of deletion in predicate, so we started to study the deletion of the enunciative and its implications, then delet e the verb, and we studied Secondly the deletion of subject and its implications, we started deleting the inchoative, and the object, then with regard to predication, such as deleting adjective and discrimination , and we had enough with some examples to show what required, the controls of the search led us to these limits, depending on a set of more than few of sources and references, the first was explanation of the divan of Ibn Hani, but we have adopted the explanation without the divan as we could not get documented edition, as the explanation contained all of his poems without exception, and characterized by a good scientific investigation and careful organization.
Concentrations of eight chlorinated pesticides: namely, gamma HCH, Heptachlor, heptachlore epoxide, aldrin, dieldrin, 4,4-DDE, 4,4-DDD, and 4,4-DDT were studied in some mollusks species Monodonta turbinata, Brachidontes variabilis , Patella caerule a, Trochus erithraeus, Strombus persicus and in sediments taken from five different locations: Assin estuary, Jobar estuary, Banias Thermal Electricity Station, Albasia, and Mirkiya River estuary. Sampling was performed at six different times during the period 2006-2007. Results indicated that Assin estuary contained the highest level of contamination followed by Jobar estuary and Mirkiya estuary where sampled mollusks species contained various concentrations of all of the studied pesticides. At Banias Thermal Electricity Station samples showed contamination with heptachlore and heptachlore epoxide only, whereas the concentration of pesticides at Albasia location, much lower than the other locations.
