In this research, we simulate the wave propagation in surface duct by using the split step Fourier method to solve the parabolic wave equation. The relation between the path loss and the channel parameters as frequency, duct strength and duct height is studied

The aim of this paper is to investigate the overlap between lower atmospheric boundary layer and real wind turbine wake which installed not far from ground surface, Here we adopted rotating actuator-disk model (RADM) as a complex model of 3D actuator -disk model, virtual blade modeling (VBM) and tip loss correction, in order to get more reliability and satisfied result. Wind turbines have grown significantly in size over the last years and, it generally placed in an atmospheric boundary layer, then the assumption of uniform wind velocity cannot be valid. The lower part of atmospheric boundary layer has a high level of turbulence intensity and great velocity gradients, then when wind turbine placed in these conditions, a high rate of fluctuation will occur subsequently power losses in wind farms, and change wake turbulence character which affects the flow-induced dynamic loads on downwind turbines.
This research involves a simulation of four channels coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) transceiver. The study is done on the effect of the extinction ratio(ER) of the directly modulated laser (DML) diode, the effect of using Erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) in optical fiber links on the quality factor (Q) and the bit error ratio (BER) when using different lengths of fiber. Then a comparison is made between the CWDM network using the amplifier EDFA and the same network without using the amplifier EDFA. In addition, the study is done on the effect of optical fiber length on Q with and without the amplifier EDFA, and we demonstrated the relationship between them diagrammatically.
Over the last few years, the radio frequency (RF) technology has experienced an exponential growth. With the requirement for more integration, new RF wireless architectures are needed. One of the most critical blocks in a wireless transceiver is the oscillator. Phase noise from radio frequency (RF) oscillators is one of the major limiting factors affecting wireless transceiver performance. Phase noise directly affects short-term frequency stability, Bit-Error-Rate (BER), and phase-locked loop adjacent-channel interference.
Web Engineering Methodologies (WebML UWE Hera RMM) support the representation and modeling of web services in a lifecycle, based on service oriented architecture (SOA). Theses methodologies, however, vary in supporting semantic web components and s emantic web services (SWS). In this work, we present a general comparison between different web engineering methodologies with special attention to semantic web components modeling and we track the weaknesses of common web engineering methodologies in modeling semantic web services. This work presents also an extension to WebML methodology where symbols, diagrams and notions are added to support the modeling of semantic web services according to DAML-S framework (DARPA agent markup language for services). Additionally, a software tool was built to support this extension and generate ontologies of semantic web services automatically based on new diagrams. This tool also supports matching with semantic ranking between semantic web services advertisements and client's requests.
This research includes studying and creating a modern model to convert the mechanical energy of sea waves into electrical power. This model uses wave’s mechanical energy to pump water to dam rises above sea level, which in turn can run water turbin e and get electrical energy in the conditions of Syrian coast. The search also includes a computer program written using Visual Basic.net, so that the program calculates the station according to the data of the waves in the geographical area that are selected and show the results in a clear value curves, after that we get useful proposals aims to build and develop this model at the future.
