Zirconia-based fixed dental prostheses have been suggested for use in the posterior regions of the mouth as an alternative to traditional metal ceramic FDPs because of its favorable mechanical properties0 The effect of framework design modifications in zirconia-based FDPs is not fully understood. The aim of this study is to compare the fracture resistance of Y-TZP zirconia FDPs with two different framework design.

Background& Objective: This study was carried out to test fracture resistance of crowns with Zirconia
core made by CAD/CAM of two thicknesses, and test the influence of decreasing the core thickness on its
fracture resistance, and study the patterns of failure.
Propolis is used directly on dentin to reduce dental sensitivity following posterior composite restorations. The research aims to test its effect on the bonding of composite to dentin in posterior composite fillings by scanning electron microscopy. T
he depth of penetration of the composite resin within the dentinal canals was evaluated by comparing the frequency of the presence of resin protrusions and measuring Their lengths and the thickness of the hybrid layer were measured in the three sample groups.
This research includes an experimental study and a nonlinear
analysis using the finite element method of reinforced concrete
beams with large opening in body that exist in shear zone . The
tested beams are simply supported with rectangular section
and
without additional reinforcement in opening region. The opening is
square in shape with variable dimensions and constant distance
from the support . Studying the effect of changing length of the
opening on the behavior of the reinforced concrete beams was
already completed. The modes of cracks , (load-deflection )
relationship, ultimate load and the mode of failure for all beams
were determinate . The study showed that existence an opening in
shear region of beams reduce the strength of beams and affect on
the mode of shear failure , and any addition in the depth of the
opening lead to early cracks , more deflections and less ultimate
failure load .
