Sweeteners are used as alternatives of Sugar because of their slow absorption and incomplete metabolism in human body, which are positively destinies in setting free small amount of calorie. This research presents the influence of ultrasonic on the sorbitol synthesis, starting from Glucose by implementing hydrogenation using Lithium Aluminum Hydride. The result we have reached by using the ultrasonic as compared with mechanical mixing or other method have lead us to two conclusions: The first was that we have obtained almost the same quantity of the sorbitol. The second was that by using ultrasonic, micelles of colloid Aluminum hydroxide were accumulated. This accumulation resulted in an easy separation by purification, which eventually lead to a super pure sorbitol solution. We hope that these results will be useful for the Crystallography science.

The transesterification reactions of Cotton seed oil with Methanol using potassium hydroxide as catalyst by Reactive Distillation column, were studied. The ester preparation involved a transesterification reaction, followed by purification.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of high and low fat diets on glucose tolerance test on healthy human beings. The study was carried out on 18 volunteers( subjects), their ages between 23-31 years with an average body weight. They w ere receiving reasonable amount of fat in their normal food ,they were divided into two groups. The first group ate a low fat diet providing less than 30g of fat per day for nine days. After fifteen days period on their usual dietary regimen the volunteers ate a high fat diet for nine days. The second group of volunteers were maintained on a reversed dietary regimen. i.e. high fat before low fat diet. this second group was carefully assessed beforehand to ensure only those whose fat intake was usually less than 130g of fat.
The study was conducted in 2016. The samples of rice Oryza sativa L. straw were collected from Dewania governorate/Iraq, and were brought to laboratory of Directorate of Environmental and Water in Ministry of Science and Technology. The samples we re cleaned and milled, then stored in sterile containers. Local cellulolytic bacterial isolate was cultivated and isolated on mineral and cellulose medium, at 37 ºC for (24± 2) hours, the bacterial isolate was diagnosed as Bacillus sp. depending on phenotypes of bacterial colonies on solid medium, microscopic characters and some biochemical tests. Milled rice straw was chemically treated with 1% of sodium hydroxide, then biological treatment by bacterial isolate Bacillus sp cultivate in mineral medium with alkali treated rice straw as carbone source and compared with cellulose standard medium. The bacterial growth was measured at 600 nm, which reached 0.974 in rice straw medium, while in cellulose medium reached 0.853. For glucose concentration, the value reached 250 μg/ml in rice straw medium, while in cellulose medium it was 210 μg/ml. The results concluded the possibility of getting rid of rice husks, which is an environmental contaminant, and to use it in the production of glucose.
In this article, a polyester amide was synthesized from oleic acid. This polymer is a biodegradable and thermoplastic polymer, with wide medical and biological applications due to its being compounds with a linear structure. The polymer structure has been confirmed. Output using spectroscopy methods known as 1H-NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy. And we obtained this polymer with a good yield (78%).
This research focuses on an environmental and economic aspect, as it depends on using the harmful water hyacinth weed as an effective material to product the biopolymer "polyhydroxybutyrate: PHB" by Bacillus subtilis. The samples were processed and d igested to extract the polymer polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) using chloroform method. Some tests were carried out to confirm the identity of this polymer, such as measuring the melting point of the product and studying the functional groups of the extracted PHB using the Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results obtained by the extracted polymer from the water hyacinth weed showed conformity to the referential PHB polymer tests, which shows the importance of this research in determining a way to get rid of this harmful weed, which is an environmental problem and a large economic burden by investing it in the production of biopolymer PHB.
