This study was conducted in cooperation between the International Center of Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) and Directorate of Agricultural Scientific Research in Hemo research station Northeast of Syria to study the effect of stocking rate, medic species, and annual rainfall on medic seed bank during the years ٩٤-٩٥-٩٦. Under wheat/ medic ١ey farming system with a number of rotations (wheat/ fallow- wheat/ wheat- wheat/ lentil- wheat/ vetch- wheat/ watermelon).

Raising number of researches dealt with precipitation properties especially after the recent advances in measurement techniques and devices. It is becoming essential to reach a common understanding of rain event when addressing the relation of rain p roperties with different climate patterns and its influence on variety of human activities. The aim of this research is to present a suitable rain event definition that would serve future research in this field. Data was acquired in Freising south of Germany in the summer of 2009. Four event definitions were generated then compared according to rain properties obtained by the disdrometer and the rain gauge, These properties included event count per definition, mean event duration, mean event rain intensity, mean event rain amount, total rain amount and total number of drops. One definition proved to be more suitable than the others exploiting the disdrometer precession.
The aime of this study was to isolate and identify the seed borne fungi of two varieties of Soybean, Sb172 and Sb44, using blotter method and P.D.A plate method. 21 species belong 10 genus were determined, saprophyte and pathogen Fungi. P.D.A plat e method showed the highest number of fungi in comparison with the other method, and the fungus Aspergillus was the most frequent genus with a ratio of 44.2% for the variety sb172 and 45.14% for the variety sb44, followed by the fungus Cladosporium and then Fusarium, whereas the genus Colletotrichum showed the lowest frequent ratio (0.85%) with the variety Sb172. The percentages of seeds germination and infection were differed between the two varieties, and the ratio seeds germination of variety sb172 were higher than the variety sb44 with the both methods of culture, and were equal 94% with prim variety and 92% with the second ones by blotter method, whereas the ratio were 52% and 34% for both varieties respectively by P.D.A plate method. However, the ratio of infection were, in general, lower with prim variety than the second ones by the both method. The results showed the seeds which were highest ratio infection appeared low ratio germination .
This research was carried out during 2009/2010 growing season in swiri region which locates about 30 Km at the west of Homs city , located in the first stability region where the annual precipitation is about 400 mm . One cultivars of faba (Vicia faba) was sown on three seeds rate (high seed rate 220 kg/h – medium seed rate 185 kg/h – low seed rate 150 kg/h) and three sowing date (15/11 – 30/11 – 15-12 ) 2009.
The effect of sandy soil treatment with superabsorbent polymer(0.1,0.2g/kg)on infiltration rate and shoot and root growth of green pepper at two soil levels (80and 100%)of field capacity was studied. The results indicate that sandy soil treatment with polymer (0.1 and 0.2 g/kg)decreased infiltration rate by 41.1 and 50.9% alternatively compared to the control. Germination rate, plant height ,leaf area, shoot and root dry weight were increased significantly with polymer treatment compared to the control and mineral fertilization treatment ,but that difference was not significant among field capacity levels (80and 100%) Treatments with hydrogel (0.1,0.2g/kg)decreased water need to produce a unity of shoot dry matter and economized water by 50 and 65%compared to the control.
Crustacean Zooplankton Was Studied In Five ponds In AL- Sinn's Fish farm. As a one Of The Most Important components Fresh Water Ecosystem . The samples of zooplankton were collected During Period From November 2013 To March 2015, By One Sampling a Month.
