يهدف البحث إلى دراسة نسب انتشار نماذج جذع الجذر و علاقتها بإصابات مفترق جذور الأرحاء عند الأشخاص السوريين.
أظهرت النتائج أن توضع جذع الجذر القصير في الأرحاء الأولى و الثانية العلوية
من الناحية الدهليزية، في حين توضع جذع الجذر الطويل من الناحية الإنسية. و كذلك في الأرحاء الأولى و الثانية السفلية فتوضع جذع الجذر القصير دهليزياً و بالمقابل فإن جذع الجذر الطويل توضع لسانياً، و كان جذع الجذر اللساني أطول في الرحى الثانية السفلية عنه في الرحى الأولى السفلية.

Statistical results presented short root trunks in maxillary (1st &
2nd) molars were located buccally , whereas the long root trunks is located
mesially. Also for Mand. (1st & 2nd ) molar short root trunks were found
buccally but the long root trunks where found lingually and the lingual root
trunks were longer in mand, 2nd than mand 1st molars.
