In this paper, the effects on the wave shape will be studied according to the track permanent components such as rail, sleepers or ballast. The results show there is a step change in stress on the ballast layer. It is important to prevent the step change in the track characteristic module over 20%. It is also useful to provide a transition zone to allow the gradate changing in track characteristic module.

The target this paper is to evaluate the lateral resistance on CWR stability in curves under the conditions the Syrian railway net and to determine the minimum radiaus depending upon the numerical solution of the energy equation.

The aim of this paper is to study the changes of knee movement during walking for patella femoral pain using flexible electro-goniometry, This is very important for gait research and stability of knee, the start and end of the gait cycle were deter mined by foot sensors, A program was designed for signal processing of the data by Mat lab, Testes were carried out at Hamish hospital in Damascus, Subjects were divided into two groups: 46 normal subjects and 21 patients. Results showed that the lesion effect on knee movement which the values of knee flexion are less than normal, In the stance phase it is noted that the knee cancels its first flexion, and In swing phase it noted that the decrease in knee flexion. It was also noted that these values were varied between the patient tested.
It is necessary when designing removable partial dentures to be fixed, stable and well supported for improving patient comfort, and decreasing damages on soft tissues and dental abutments, the alveolar ridge has a strong influence in planning for treatment and interpretations biomechanical when treated with removable partial dentures, and have four shapes in the sagittal plane which are horizontal shape, concave shape, distal ascending shape and descending shape.
The surrounding conditions of tunnel lining may change during the investment period which leads to a redistribution of forces acting on the tunnel lining and perhaps gives new forces are not taken into account during the design. The behavior of the tunnel should be analyzed for the new conditions and assess its performance through the stages of investment. In this paper, a case study of Alsafkon tunnel which is one of the Syrian Railway deep tunnels is regarded. The lining of this tunnel suffers from cracks, leakage, and other defects. To analyze the behavior of the tunnel lining, it has been modeled using the finite element method software Phase for five cases that represent the investment conditions experienced by the tunnel from its construction to date. It was found that the lining cracks appear from the third phase which represents the case of immersion of the tunnel by the underground water. The formation of a weak lens adjacent to the tunnel detected by geo radar plays also an important role in the cracking of the lining of the tunnel. The results of numerical analysis were in correspondence with the current situation of the tunnel in terms of distributed cracks places in the concrete lining. The study showed also the improvement importance of the lens properties to avoid the total fall down of the tunnel.
