The aim of the study was to compare the clinical and radiographic changes between conventional implant and immediate implant placement after tooth extraction. Ten patients of both sexes( 6male,4 female) included in this study were received 20 implants. Each patient received two implants in the posterior region of the mandible . Dental implants were installed in the same surgical procedure , One of the implants was placed immediately after tooth extraction (test group ) and the other one was placed 6 months after the extraction (control group ) .

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of Subcrestal placement of dental implants on marginal bone loss in immediate implantation. The research sample comprised of 24 implants were immediately placed after extraction,12 implants have placed at Equicrestal level (6 in the maxilla and 6 mandible) served as control group and 12 impalnts (6 in the maxilla and 6 mandible) have placed at Subcrestal level served as test group. modified bleeding index MBI, probing pocket depth PPD and marginal bone loss MBL Implant survival, evaluated for both groups. Mbl were 0.85 mm in control group and 1.30 mm in test group after one year of dental emplacement The results of the present study showed that the success rate was 100% in both groups, there was no statistical difference between the test and control regarding, MBI, while there was statistical difference between the test and control regarding MBL, PPD. during periods of follow up .
This prospective clinical trial aims to investigate the change of alveolar ridge width after immediate implantation using tow deferent techniques in expanding the alveolar ridge. In this study, 12 patients (9 female,3 male) with narrow alveolar ri dges in the maxilla were treated. 20 dental implants were immediately installed after the expansion procedures of the selected narrow ridges , 10 implants with Bone Spreader technique , and 10 implants with Bone Splitting technique .
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the possibility of implantation in chronic periodontally infected sites The research sample comprised of 20 implants were placed in 6 patients from both sex , the sample were divided into 2 groups: the co ntrol group, 10 implants were placed after waiting period of four months after the extraction and the test group, 10 implants were immediately placed after extraction in areas of chronic periodontally infected sites. Gingival index GI, marginal bone loss MBL, proping depth PD, Implant survival, evaluated for both groups. The results of the present study showed that the survival rate was 100% in control group and 80% in test group. There was no statistical difference between the test and control regarding, GI, while there was statistical difference between the test and control regarding MBL and PD during periods of follow up.
Surgical placement of dental implants may cause a certain degree of pain and discomfort to some patients. Conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have been widely used in the control of postoperative pain, but sparse information is avail able about the efficacy of celecoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, after surgical placement of dental implants. The aim of this study was to compare the analgesic efficacy of celecoxib and ibuprofen on pain control after the surgical placement of dental implants .
Several methods have been introduced to treat inflammatory gingival enlargement including laser, electrocautery, and surgical scalpel which is the standard method adopted. Recently, however, ceramic bur has emerged as a simple and rapid tool for gingivectomy The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare gingivectomy by using ceramic bur and traditional gingivectomy by using surgical scalpel.
