In this work, it has been studied Compton Effect using the 662 keV gamma rays from a radioactive source of cesium-137 (137Cs) intensity (3.33×105 Bq) on Aluminum rod (who plays scatter). It has been measured the differential cross section, and the experimental values of differential cross section compared with theoretical values given by Klein - Nishina equation.

This work aims to find the differential scattering cross-section for X-ray scattered by aluminum target with angles in intervals in accordance to both polarization cases ( completely – partly). In addition, the relative scattered intensity and po larization degree have been presented as a function of scattered angles and the extreme values are found for each curve.
In this work, it has been recording the alpha particles emitted from an Amerecium-241 source, and scattered by a gold and Aluminum thin foils as a function of the scattering angle q (0o-30o), using a semiconductor detector and Rutherford scattering c hamber. It always has been measuring the differential cross section resulting from this scattering, and experimentally determining the atomic number of Gold and Aluminum. Comparison between experimental and theoretical results shows a good agreement.
The mid-transverse section is considered one of the significant sections in the shiphull, because it exists in the middle of its calculated length, where the bindings moments reach the maximum, in consequence the hull strength can be determined thr ough the strength of this section. Its design process includes the determination of the dimensions of plats and different framing beams and considered one of the important stages in the hull design process. This research includes the estimation of calculated values of binding moments, inertia and resistant’s moments of this section area, initiated from the providing conditions of critical strength and fatigue strength. It also includes, the formals used for the determination of longitudinal elements dimensions through the transverse thicknesses and metal distribution type among them. The longitudinal strength of the hull was evaluated according the perpendicular and tangential stresses.
The copper wire drawing is one of cold forming operations which basicly the copper is used as pure material for various diameters & sections in electrical conductors industry. By cooperation with S.M.C company for cables industry in Damascus – Sy ria, a research has been done during 2 years on rod breakdown heavy drawing machine -HENRICH - GERMANY- 2 lines- with max productivity 25 ton/24hr. 50 samples of copper wire breaks and deformations have been studied & analyzed, thus the defects are classified in main statistics diagrams in gold of give main instructions that contribute in raising the quality level of local copper wire manufacturing & giving a whole view about this industry.
In this work, we calculated the gamma energy (Eg) of scattered photons in Compton effect, as a function of scattering angle,q. We have used in this work gamma radioactive source, Cisium-137 (137Cs); its intensity is 3,33.105Bq, where it has been orie nted towards an aluminum scatterer. The results obtained showed that the energy variation of the scattered photon on an aluminum scatterer, as a function of the scattering angle, is in good agreement with the values obtained by theoretical equation.
